eagletac MX25L3 MT-G2 2750 Lumen LED Maximum Distance Flashlight, Black

After buying many different flashlights this is the very best compromise I have yet found considering all of the aspects I feel go into making a great flashlight. Things get a bit confusing with this flashlight as there are some different LED options available. The heading here shows 2750 Lumens. That is the light output for an LED option that I did not purchase. The one I purchased only puts out about 1,500 Lumens BUT because of the configuration of the LED and smooth (not the orange peel kind) surface of the reflector it shines a beam further than the version with the LED that puts out 2750 Lumens. If you want good throw than get the lower Lumen LED version. The size of this flashlight is another selling point. For me once a flashlight gets much over a pound or longer than about 9 inches it is too big to easily carry around for long periods. This flashlight weighs just over a pound and is very compact 6 & 1/2 inches long. The barrel is also easy to grip. It uses long lasting rechargeable 18650 lithium batteries. And finally it has four brightness levels from really bright to a low setting that will give you many many hours of light before the batteries expire. This flashlight is a real gem among so many pretenders to the throne in the world of flashlights.

Piece of junk. Put brand new, top quality lithium batteries in, set it aside. Go to use it a month later. DEAD. Replace the batteries again. And again, brand new batteries (Ultrafire). A few months go buy and go to use it. DEAD AGAIN. And it ruins the batteries if rechargeable too. It has a drain.Other than that the beam is poor and adjustment is non-existent.All in all a terrible flashlight and not worth 10% of the amount being asked for.Tried to get defective item replaced. Nope, seller walked away from doing the right thing.

its a great flashlight- made well- very bright- but I cannot find a holster for it- were can I buy one.

As a law enforcement officer working the midnight shift a quality flashlight is greatly needed. This flashlight is perfect for my needs. The new MT G2 led has a very wide spill lighting up a big area at once. But the big reflector also makes for a very long throw. The kit version has a rear tactical switch that is a must have. The flashlight is very compact....the perfect balance between size and performance. The holster is perfect as you can withdraw the light when needed very quickly.The different settings on the light make this perfect for everyone....but on turbo it is just amazing. Excellent flashlight from an excellent company. I use mine with the new 3600 mah batteries from Orbrtonic....Long runtimes!
