This gives them a distinctive and unique smokey flavour that is ideal for adding to your dishes. They are also ideal for adding to a grinder so that they can be freshly ground at the table directly onto your food. The quick drying process ensures that these flakes are crisp and crunchy- many people eat them as they are, as a snack on their own, or added to other snacks. Ideal for all cooking purposes, including stews, roasts, gravies, sauces, soups, breads, pizza’s etc. Add to salads and cheese dishes. They can also be soaked in a little warm water for 20 minutes prior to use to reconstitute them if required- this is an ideal way to add them to bread prior to baking.
