Shoes do the job but make sure the straps are adjusted correctly and try a few practice walks because they can feel a bit wobbly. I found it useful to use some masking tape to stop the ends of the straps flapping around

Used these when laying a large area of self levelling compound. The idea is sound, to allow you to walk through the material and I suppose help aerate it to an extent, and the actual base plate/spikes feel quite sturdy underfoot. However, as mentioned in other reviews the straps are almost useless; they are far too long and the buckle itself barely creates any resistance. Ended up looping them around my feet and then using strong tape to hold them in place - not ideal! You also need to assemble the spike plates yourself; dead easy with the included spanner, but a bit time consuming. A few of the spikes had little burrs on the end which needed to be flattened off. Overall, did the job and for the money, they aren't too bad.

Took half an hour to connect the spikes. The straps are a joke, so long and fiddly im going to just use some old laces and make them work somehow. If i didnt need these asap they would have gone straight back. Poor product to say the least

First off they arrived in pieces so you have to assemble them which is a case of screwing in all the spikes to the base. Next up is attaching the straps which took a bit of figuring out as there are no instructions whatsoever. Once constructed these did the job and I was able to lay self levelling compound without leaving marks. Not plain sailing though as the straps worked themselves loose a few times which was frustrating on a time sensitive job. Shame they were not better quality.

Like others have stated, the straps don't keep them strapped on for long! The spiked shoes are great for their intended use, for me I used them when applying epoxy paint on the floor, but I went old skool and wrapped duck tape so they stayed strapped on

The spiked shoes worked really well when finishing an epoxy floor. They may not look as flattering BUT when doing the job these spikes kept you safe and allowed the job to get done.

They easily adjusted to fit my work boots.

Could be just a tiny bit bigger, but good enough
