Unisex Embury Chelsea Boot, Black Wyoming, 8 Women/7 Men

Love these boots . Cute, comfortable and very durable. I love their pull tab for pullling the boot on. I’ve had them for over a year and they still look great.

These are a bit big for my feet. I typically wear somewhere between a women's size 7.5 and 8.5 depending on brand. These women's size 8 Docs are quite wide and a bit too long. I like how roomy they feel though. The shoes seem very well made and are easy to put on. I really like the way they look. After about a week, I broke them in well enough that I can wear them with no fear of blisters (as long as my socks are thick).

I haven’t found any reviews here regarding these shoes being used for work. I work in a kitchen and needed a new pair of nonslip boots. My previous pair of Dr Martens (Winch NS) lasted me 4 years of casual wear but broke 2 years into wearing them daily in food service before completely breaking beyond repair. I was expecting a miserable break in period, but after one week the shoes are relatively comfortable. I work 12 hour shifts often and haven’t experienced any pain other than usual fatigue. The snug fit and material helps to keep water out of my boots, I haven’t had any issues with wet socks even after working long dishwashing shifts. I was hesitant on buying these due to the lack of reviews about the nonslip soles. These shoes are definitely nonslip. They hold up well on water and oil, i’ve experienced some skidding but the same can be said for my last pair of nonslip shoes. I’d recommend for the first few days to double up on socks or wear a pair of thick socks. On top of that, wear socks that go above the shoes to stop the top from rubbing against your bare skin. I’m unsure about the longevity of this style of shoe in the kitchen yet, if I experience any breaking faster than expected I will update my review here to let y’all know. My last pair with similar soles broke one and a half years after I started using them for work. UPDATE (10 months): The soles have split at the arch of the shoe. I believe this happened probably 8 months in. It doesn’t affect wearing them at all, but is worth noting. I had the same issue with my last pair of Docs, and I wouldn’t say this is uncommon. We had a day in the kitchen where there was flooding, and my boots were submerged in a little under 2 inches of water for 5 hours. My feet were completely soaked. I didn’t expect these to be fully waterproof, but I honestly wasn’t expecting that much water to enter the boots. They are somewhat easy to clean, but for food service I will probably go for a different material next time I have to purchase a pair.

I ordered these to wear on my trip to Portugal. I usually wear a women's 8-8.5 so I ordered these in an 8. They came in the original box, with the Doc Marten tissue paper inside that I'm used to seeing from buying shoes at an actual DM store. The opening at first is a bit tight to slide your foot through but it does give a bit with each wear. The toe box was quite spacious and I'm not sure if that's because it is a unisex boot. I felt like if they offered half sizes a 7.5 would fit better, but a 7 would be too small. After going up and down the hills in Porto and averaging 7+ miles a day for 6 days in these my feet were fine. I did develop a hot spot on one of my heels but that was from another pair of shoes I wore out for my hiking day trip. Even with that hot spot, a little bandaid and my new boots my feet were ready to walk another 7miles. It rained off and on throughout the trip and my feet stayed dry and I didn't feel like I would slip on the cobblestones at all. Would recommend buying these while they're on sale if you can.

I love them. Did not give 5 stars- because they are kind of narrow on my foot. If you have larger than normal ankles, you are not going to be able to wear your regular size with regular socks, they cut the circulation to your feet and you'll be numb in one hour. I now wear them with nylon socks and they work. Hopefully after i break them in they will loosen up. I love that there's plenty off room in the toes box area.

My favorite boot. I wore my first pair to death. Just reordered a new pair. Literally wore these boots every day for 4 years. 🩷 Roomy toe space. Snug on the ankle. Great to dress up or down. My absolute favorite. Beautiful, well made boot.

Cute boots for fall! Feel sturdy, but not too clunky. Good bottom track as to not be slippery. Comfortable and durable.

Really cute and comfortable boots that can be dressed up or down. The opening is a little small for someone with large calves. I am unsure if stretching would help due to the elastic on the sides. Great value for the money.

I had always wanted a pair of Dr martins, but the stories I have been told about the pain of breaking them in is such a turn off. However I wanted and elastic side boot and these bad boys are prefect. The leather is softer and the soul is soft and conformable. Like any new boot the first ware yesterday was a little but they are already feeling softer today . so happy

I had been shopping for quite a long time for a pair of doc Martin chelseas. I tried on in store other types (vegan leather, lace up) so had confirmed the size I should get. Other reviewers indicated they were true to size. So I ordered the size based on my trying other types of doc Martins and on the size I buy in every other type of footwear. Sadly, they were huge, so i had to return them.
