Better than Homemade!
This is the very best shortbread ever! As good if not better than homemade! The addition of the touches of stem ginger for me makes it perfect but plain or any of the varieties are brilliant.

A nice shortbread - different but nice!
With being a fan of the original shortbread from this brand, I fancied trying some of their other varieties so I bought a few different ones including this one and out of them all, I think this one is my second favourite out of them all. Shortbread House of Edinburgh really do excel when it comes to producing high quality shortbread.

The best!
These small shortbread biscuits are the most delicious I have tried, and I have carried out extensive investigations. They look homemade and have a light, crumbly texture with a fabulous flavour. I find them better than large biscuits as they last longer and are ideal when guests arrive. Looks and flavour, what more could you ask for.

Bit disappointing
The texture is nice, but the ginger is lost I can hardly taste it and it doesnt taste buttery either. Lots of other people seem to really like them but I wasnt impressed so personal taste I guess. I really do like the taste of ginger in things and there are some much better ginger biscuits out there. (standard supermarket ginger snaps have probably 4 times as much ginger flavour as these as a guide)

I like this shortbread more than Walker's. It is crumbly and buttery and delicious. I've just ordered more of the ginger because it is my favorite.
