Probably saved my life!I have a cat who absolutely loves running full pelt through the flat, unfortunately seems to mostly enjoy taking off from the rug I have in my ‘hallway’ of sorts which is hiding some yucky tiles which I’m eventually getting carpeted, but needed a temporary fix, hence the rug. This was happening at all times of the day and night. In the daytime it’s not so bad because I can hear and see the rug has been moved so I just put it back and get on with moving around. At night however, half asleep I don’t realise the rug has potentially moved, so I’ve had many a meeting with a doorframe or face planting the floor into whatever room I was intending on walking into.I’ve put these in the corners, so used 8 in total. They stuck fast when I first installed them and straight away my cat was up to her usual tricks.Now, my 4kg cat can take off at full pelt from the middle of the rug, and then continue to use the rug to help launch her from room to room and she’s running. The rug doesn’t so much as twitch. It is stuck fast.Very basic little gizmos and I’m nearly 4 years late to the party but now I know the cat can do her thing for the rest of forever and I don’t need to worry about putting every single light on to find out where he rug is at night. And best of all, I never have to grumble as I fetch it from whatever room it lands in when she launches off of it!Very, very happy customer. I wish I knew these existed years ago!

The media could not be loaded. These rug grippers are easy to install and just a case of peeling the covers off the sticky sides of the plastic and sticking to your rug and floor.They hold the rug down incredible well. The biggest issue is that it is well and truly stuck to the floor (lino) so not the easiest to pick the rug up to vacuum under.The size of grippers are a good size that they hold all sizes of rugs and very versatile in the regard.I am not fearful of tripping over the rug even though it is only stuck in the corners.It is fairly easy to remove as just need to reach under the rug and gently lift and peel the gripper off and can then reuse with a quick wipe down with some water.

I purchased these to prevent a woven rug from slipping on a hard floor. Easy to apply I used two in each corner and a couple in the middle. Pressed it down onto the floor and hey presto! Rug is now sitting nice and still even with my son playing in the room and myself hoovering it. These are great. I'd certainly buy them again.Edit: I've just gone to lift the rug so that I can mop the floor and they have stuck firmly to the hard floor and ripped a lot of the back of the rug off and now will not re adhere to the rug.

It definitely works and 100% keeps the rugs in place but if you're like me and likes to do a deep clean often and take the rugs out this product may not be for you as it's very difficult to remove the rugs. We used this and was very difficult to remove it from the floor and it also damaged slightly one of our rugs. I guess it works great if you want something permanent.

I've used a lot of products to stop my dog hooning down the stairs and taking the rug with him.I only used four on a 2x1m rug that is almost a blanket it's so light, didn't use more becuase I was planning on giving the wood floor a polish before Christmas, and assumed they would lift by then, didn't get to it in the end as the sticky corners didn't budge.Between the dog (a hair producing malamute cross, children with Christmas gifts and moving furniture, I really expected to spend Christmas reattaching the rug. Not once until today. It says when you do get one lifting you clean the floorside and restick it. I caught a corner under the Christmas tree while packing away and pulled the rug up. I used a damp sponge to clean the floor side and back down it went as if it was brand new. Seriously impressed. I'd buy more but I'm not sure when I'll need new ones

I bought these in October but only just got round to using them. Couldn't wait to put my huge rug on my carpeted floor again as its been a while, I put it away early last year as my dog kept on rolling it back when he was a pup.So, I made sure both the floor and carpet were freshly hoovered, laid my rug out flat, slight curling up at one end due the rug being rolled but hey ho. I duly stuck the stickers on, carpet on rug side, floor side on floor side, pressed them to the floor.....................lifted straight away.Ok, slight curl, so I took the stickers off, they came away so easily, bent the rug the other way so it was flat, used other stickers, same problem.Conclusion, given the fact that they came away so quickly when I took them off in the first place, the tack on them is very weak, not worth the money for me at all.

The reason for getting runner in the hall in the first place was to stop Patch slipping and sliding around on the laminate when chasing his tennis balls. It's really not good for their joints! The rug arrived yesterday, and it's great value for money. Nice design and colour, and incredibly soft (so much so that Patch spent most of the day on it whilst I worked).When playtime came in the evening, it was evident I needed something to secure the rug to the floor as every time he ran at speed down the hallway, the rug went everywhere! Applied these adhesive strips today (really easy to use) and they have already passed the test! Throwing the ball down the hall multiple times which a Jack Russell chasing it like a rocket and no movement at all! Would highly recommend. Approved by myself and by Patch!

They are great but they do wear out, so the carpet starts moving but really great grip when they do
