This is my third 5-gallon bucket from Desert Creek and I keep coming back for a reason. The honey tastes excellent - good complexity, not cloyingly sweet like cut honey, and the price per pound is unbeatable for raw, unfiltered stuff. The only inconsistency I've noticed: sometimes you get exactly 60lbs of honey (container tare not included), other times you get the full 63lbs including the bucket. This batch was spot-on at 63lbs total. Seems to depend on who's manning the scale that day, but the variance is minor enough that I'm still ordering. If you go through honey in volume, this is the move. Real product, fair price, no nonsense.

Well, I purchased this honey in June of 2024. It smells like molasses and tastes like molasses. I hate it. The consistency is very liquid. After more than one year it did not crystalize. I conclude that the honey is not "Raw, Unfiltered, Unpasteurized Texas Honey" :-( FYOI, I have been consuming real raw honey from Texas and Colorado for years and real raw honey tastes wonderful + it does crystalize over time.

Quick to ship, 60# honey on the doorstep. Use for mead making, baklava, and margaritas. I like a dark flavorful honey.
