Just like I used to use in my restaurant.It is a little heavy, but great quality and very sturdy.

After seasoning a few times little sticks to it but to really appreciate a wok at home you need a turkey fryer burner to get it hot quickly and cook quickly.The wood handle has splinters i found out the hard way. The handle is unfinished wood so maybe need to sand and stain. Overall a good product.

Update...so I did chicken fried rice, and I was right. This set up does not get hot enough for proper stir-fry. Everything got cooked, and flavor was good, but it took much longer than it should, and I didn’t achieve the textures that you’d expect from it. I am not saying that there’s anything wrong with the wok, just that it doesn’t work on my range.Original review...The ring that comes with it is far too big to sit flat on my range without the burner grates in place. The wok has a rounded bottom, which is what I wanted, so it won’t sit on the grate without the ring. I am forced to sit the wok on the ring on top of the burner grate. Doing it this way I don’t think it’ll get hot enough to cook on. Regardless, I seasoned it tonight, and had to hold it the whole time, and not use the ring. I had to do this just to get the wok hot enough to “cook” the oil for seasoning. After I finished, I went ahead and put It on the ring, on top of the grate, added a little oil, and tossed in some diced green peppers to see what happened. It clearly wasn’t getting hot enough, with a 17,000 BTU burner, while it is sat on the ring, and on top of the grate, to cook the peppers. I am going to go ahead and try to do a chicken fried rice, in a few nights. I’ll update my review for better or worse, after. Also, it comes with no instructions on seasoning. I went to YouTube and found a video. It suggested boiling water in the wok before cleaning it with warm soapy water. I tired to do that, again on the ring, and on top of the grated. It couldn’t boil the water with the burner on high. Hope it performs better, or it’s a waste of money.

I have used this many times since purchasing and it has worked great. Make sure to season properly before using and you should have any problems. Handle seems a bit flimsey but tightened up the screw a bit and it seems much better

Great quality. Larger than expected but it works well. Was very easy to season with a gas oven. A couple weeks in and we really are pleased with the purchase!
