For most seams in the field i prefer a sanding pole for all but the last coats. I usually use the square sponges with a medium grit on one side and fine on the other, helps me cope when i have someone else help do finishing but in the corners these angles sponges let me sand one side of a corner without touching the other. if you're finishing right, the fine sanding sponge is all you need.
