Absolutely brilliant camera It is used to watch my dog when he stays alone at home

Used for home security does the job.

Awful. Although next to my router it regularly went Offline and after 3 days will not connect at all no matter how often it is disconnected and reconnected. Just says 'Pairing' with the circle of death running on the app. So pleased I didn't sign up for Premium service. Gave 1 star because no option for zero stars.

Everything is good you can see your home at any time when you far away. Can get notifications as well. I like this canary view camera. But one thing I don’t like yoou cannot see the person or anything if there will be dark. Actually i need that thing which can cover the dark. So i can recomend it people need for normal routine but I can’t recommend for night or dark time. Thanks

When I first bought this product it was amazing. Since they changed the system you have to subscribe to be advert free and to see videos of whats happened in the day. The adverts are really annoying. I wouldn't recommend this product any more unless you are happy to pay the subscription.

Subscription trap they will charge you after a year, even if you cancel, and say they don’t have a record of the cancellation. The cameras pretty crap and I would avoid this product. Terrible customer service and refusing to refund a subscription for a camera I don’t use. Scum.

I ordered this item and received a random IP camera instead.

What I wanted was a budget friendly device that would be easy to install, with clear images that would notify me if someone entered my home. This is exactly what I got. For the money it's amazing. The device looks like a speaker and can be set on a shelf or furniture. The camera is wide angled, picks up the whole room. When the Canary is in Nighttime mode the camera picked me up as I entered the room.and outlined my body as I sat in a chair in the dark.. I also received a notification on my phone. I can watch live when I and home if I am in another room. The sound is sensitive enough that it picks up any noise that a person would make when entering the room. A bonus that my family finds useful is the timeline. The timeline lists when I leave and when I arrive back home, and shows when I am away and when I am home. It can easily be moved to a different position or a different room . I chose not to purchase the membership and about the only negative is the repeated messages to become a member. not a big deal, just annoying. This product is perfect for people that are renters where there may be restrictions on mounting things to the property, I would recommend this for all age groups, but especially seniors. I feel safer with this product and it gives me piece of mind knowing that it works as describe.

I have had this device for 3 months now, on the whole it seems to work well, until it doesn't - Then you are on your own!! Canary's does not have a number to call, just email or live chat. Having waited an hour for someone on live chat to respond. I gave up. Really terrible customer service here. Because their help services are virtually non existent, I would not recommend their product.

Eigentlich hat mir die Kamera super gut gefallen. Leider gibt's sie nur selten Benachrichtigungen und ist somit für uns unbrauchbar! Bestimmt wäre es mit Abo besser, allerdings sehr ich es nicht ein so viel Geld im Jahr zu bezahlen. Ein Gutschein für ein Jahr wäre dabei, aber das sehe ich trotzdem nicht ein. Der Nachtsichtmodus war wirklich sehr gut -wie ich finde. Account anlegen und Installation ging auch sehr schnell.
