Gentle product and happy with it

This product faded completely out after the first shampoo. I did everything exactly as it should be and have plenty of experience with home hair color. I've never seen a color fade so quickly. Unfortunately it's not " returnable " with Amazon so there's no way to get a refund. If you're going to risk buying this brand go to a local drugstore that has a guarantee.

I had been going to a salon for years to have my hair colored, then COVID hit. So I set out to do some DIY hair color to match my natural color and cover grays. (I'm about 20% gray.) My natural color is medium brown, but I bought light neutral brown. Despite the name, the picture on the box looked like it matched my natural color. Anyway, I am very happy with the color and pretty happy with the coverage. Next time, I plan to let the product set for 45 minutes instead of 30. I'm hoping that will help hide the grays better.

I have minimal itching and no redness when using this product. This is a far cry from salon hair color, especially Well products. A tip to try: The salon typically adds a packet of Sweet & Lo to their color before application and that has helped. However, I forgot to try that with this product because I have had such great results. Seriously, why spend $100 to get a professional to color your hair when it can so easily be done at home. I do have fairly resistant gray, so 6.03 did not cover them consistently, but, now I look like I have a few highlights, so I am good with that!

I haven't done my hair in years. I was very disappointed that after all that, the grey was still very much visible. Ugh. Not for people with A LOT of grey hair. In fairness, i may have gone too light. The smell was nice and it really is easy and no mess. I'm going to cross my fingers and try a darker color in a few days. Not much choice with this pandemic!

I love this product however the last box I received was not right.I couldn't open the bottle. I had to use a wrench to twist it open.The two mixtures WOULD NOT MIX. No matter how many times I shook the bottle; it remained uneven. There was no expiration date on the box. Why? Think you own me a new box. Thank you
