I needed an o-ring for the shut off and bowl. (leaking gas) Figured I'd just buy a rebuild kit. Googled the Subaru EX27o engine/carb. EX27. Type, Air-cooled, 4-cycle, slant single cylinder, OHC, horizontal PTO shaft. 265cc (16.17ci).Great price for a carburetor why not... Easy replacement. Worked first pull. No complaints. Quick delivery. Happy happy joy joy!

Carb worked perfectly out of the box, however they do provide an instruction sheet for adjustments. The problem is that it is all text with no illustrations as to what adjustment screw they are referencing. So if you are not a mechanic it is useless. Carb seems well built and of quality and worth the money. The only reason for the 4 star is the documentation...which I didn't need to use. It works right out of the box.

The carburetor looks great. I just don’t know how well it works. It is the wrong part for me.The shipping was fast.

The carburetor smelled of gasoline when I opened the package. The carburetor was also wet with something. It was obviously a used item. I installed it on my subaru ex27 and it wouldn't crank unless I used ether. I never did get the engine to run properly. I ended up buying the oem carburetor and once installed I had no issues with the engine starting and running. I would Not recommend this carburetor from this company.
