The only thing I didn’t like was the Scepter is cheap and hard to put the top on with the jewel.

Too of scepter is hard to place on. If you force it down it will pop in. It doesn’t seem like it but it does. Crown seems like they made half. It’s short. One jewel fell off as soon as We took it out of package. It does appear to be good quality. It doesn’t look cheap if that helps anything

While I wouldn’t normally have paid $40 for this, I wanted something that came with the full package (crown + cape + scepter), and given that it’s going to be used at the school I work at to entertain kids, I figured that was worth the extra money (though it did pain me a little). Plastic on the crown and scepter is kinda cheap and brittle — the cape is by far the most well done part of the ensemble, but it is definitely some good quality. Crown barely fits my head (way too wide and not deep enough to fit around the head) but unless you’re running around a lot it does just fine. Overall, despite the build quality of the crown and scepter, it all fits together nicely. Pros: - Cape excellent quality - Full package (comes with enough to make a king outfit) - Scepter adjustable - Detailed (cape has lace, scepter head designed well, etc) Cons: - Quality overall probably not worth $40 - Crown and scepter made with cheap plastic — if you’re not careful, the scepter could easily break (especially at full length) - Doesn’t come with instructions (probably not needed, but I was a little confused at first how to put the scepter together) - Scepter parts fit really tightly (kinda got to shove the connector pieces together to make everything fit. If you push it down too much, it’ll probably be hard to take it apart).

Bought this for my son (he’s singing the part of King George from Hamilton). The crown has missing jewels. Others were barely glue gunned on and were hanging off, attached only by threads of dried glue. The scepter was impossible to put the top on. It has no way to fit inside the stick. Would have been better off purchasing items separately rather than spend 42.00 on this useless junk. I intend on returning it.

I bought this for my soon to be son-in-law. He will be the king at my daughter's costume baby shower. I material is durable and not real cheap. Makes a great gift for yourself as well. I think I should be a spokesperson for Amazon View.

It was impossible to iron out the wrinkles on the white satin trim. I had to spend over $20 for furry white material from a fabric store and hand sew it over the white satin. I believe the original trim was sewn improperly.
