My mother's mobility issues caused her old toilet to need a tall seat adaptor to make it a good height for her. I finally got the chance to get her an upgrade, so I started looking around. Local hardware stores only had 16 and 18 inch "comfort height" toilets. This one was 21 inches of pooping goodness. Installation was pretty much normal. She was thrilled to get rid of the rickety old adaptor and can even help to keep this one clean because its so much higher than her old 14 inch that she can reach it without a lot of bending. Caveats: you're gonna need a longer water line to get to the higher tank. Yes, you know that. It seems obvious. It did to me too, but then that detail got lost in the shuffle and resulted in a last minute scramble to get the right length of connector hose. I have seen other reviews here complaining about the flush, but this new toilet flushes much smoother and better than the old one so no issues there, and I'm on septic (if it matters).

After 3 shipments, we finally got a comode that wasn't shattered upon arrival. The height is wonderful! The seat that comes with is is NOT comfortable and we ordered a wooden white enameled on Amazon to be able to sit in comfort. IT is a well made toilet and if you need the extra 21" height, you will find it very easy to get up and down on it. Doesn't flush wll wiht low water; I have adjusted the float mechanism to really fill the bowl. I am very pleased with this product.

I had plumber remove 2 27 year old ones and install 2 of these and he did a great job. If you want a tall sturdy toilet this one is a good one for you. Flushes nice and happy with it. Glad I got experienced plumber to install because one of my two old toilets had broken flange that was hard to get off to replace it. Thumbs up on these tall toilets. No more knee strain to get on em.

Not a difficult job to install but then I've done a few toilets before. It makes sitting on the toilet for me so much easier. I am 6'2" and low chairs do work well for me. This toilet is great height for me but maybe too tall for wife. Came with a broken fill mechanism from the shipping. (Thus 4 and not 5 stars). The plastic that attaches to water line was broken. Just replaced with one from home depot so can't review the mechanism that fills toilet. Toilet uses a lot less water. I was concerned it would not remove all the "material" in the toilet. But I've had this a while and everything goes down without a problem.

Ever noticed how toilet risers tend to wiggle and slip? Well we did when my dad hit the bathroom floor and ended up in the ER. This is the perfect height, no wiggling parts, no slipping, easy to get up from for those that have trouble standing. Highly recommend.

The toilet is nice and high which is why we bought it. But the seat hole is small and angled making it hard and uncomfortable to sit. Both my husband and I are not big people (just tall) I am very disappointed for the amount of money spent on a higher toilet. I tried ordering another seat but my new elongated seat did not fit this toilet for this model requires an extra elongated toilet bowl seat.

Husband wanted a tall toilet. He loves this one. It is 22" high with the seat on. I'm 5'9" and it is slightly uncomfortable for me as is almost too tall and the seat has a ridge on the outer edge. It needs a more rounded seat to be comfortable for my height. Would not get this if anyone is less than 5'8" tall.

I have mobility issues and getting off a toilet can be difficult. This toilet is so great and easy to get off. I am 5'3" and it is tall, but getting off easily is great. Also, it flushes great. Construction is very solid.
