WEN LA164K 5/8-Inch Keyed Drill Chuck with MT2 Arbor Taper.

I used this chuck in my metal lathe to drill a hole in a piece of steel that I was making into a knife bolster. It worked and fit as it should. The quality seems very good. The chuck is heavy and everything fits tightly and performs well. It included a chuck that works well. I didn't have any problem with drill bit slippage, and the chuck aligned the drill bit as it should and held it centered.

This chuck is heavy duty! Same exact chuck that is on my 12” drill press! High quality and worth every penny! Pull the trigger on this bad boy!

Bigger than I expected. I bought this to use in a 8x14 mini lathes tailstock and it takes up a lot of real estate. But it still gets the job done. From the smallest center drill to the biggest hole I have wanted to make with this lathe the chuck has held the drill firmly. I tend to sit a lot so if I am changing bits, I tend to pop the taper out of the tailstock and change it on the bench. So that takes even more room.

I'm not sure there is much to say about this. It seems very solid and works great. It fits my lathe and I have used it effectively numerous times since getting it. I'm happy with the reasonable price and I feel like it will serve me well for a long time.

A nicely machined 5/8" keyed MT2 chuck, very robust and good quality, with key and JT6 taper adapter at a good competitive price - I recommend this drill or small lathe chuck.
