I bought this item on august 2014 and I just used it 2 times and it worked perfectly . I have a dog rottweiler and his fur is almost like a sheep literally speaking . I have used a lot, tons of trimmers,human cutting hair machines and vet machines too with no good experience. I just saw once this machine and caught my attention. I decided to give it a try and bought it . I am very happy with the results. If you have a dog with a fur like mine (almost like a sheep or goat ) , then the solution is this machine. The machine came with the case and all the equiment that was advertised in the picture. You don't need to assemble anything, the machine came with all the cutting blade installed . I went to youtube page to see how it works and they explain how to assemble correctly the machine with the blades but for my surprise : the machine came with the blade installed just to be used immediately. I am very happy with this company . Will definitely buy again from this seller. Oh and the motor is very fast and it heats quickly. The work was done in just 10 minutes.Ths was very fast for me because the other vet machines or human cutting machines will take me maybe 45 min to 1 hour to cut all the fur with no good results in the past.

Purchased these to sheer our 2 sheep. This was our first time sheering sheep so in looking for sheers these seemed to be the most reasonably priced with the best reviews. My husband and I were very pleased with them! They did get kind of hot during sheering which was to be expected. We did give them a little time to cool between the 2 sheep.Not sure what else to say! These got the job done quickly and worked great! And for the price I don't think you can beat these.

I bought these clippers/shearers because I have a couple of sheep- used it and it worked pretty well - I would have liked to see some technique literature, although I know most people who use these would not require them- Heavy when you consider that the 'human' version is pretty lightweightWould I buy again .?..Yeah ! For sure at the price...its well worth it ..again depending on the volume and usage- I haven't used it much - I hope it lasts a few years !

I purchased these clippers because the dog clippers I purchased from amazon, although good didn't quite do the job on my two golden retrievers. It took me 3 hours with the dog clippers to do both dogs and my body was a wreck. After reading some of the comments I decided to try the sheep sheers. They are a life saver, literally for my back and knees. Some reviews said it took five minutes to do their dog....that's great but there are areas of my girls that need to be cleaned up with the dog clippers. Sensitive areas like the head and belly. You must be careful not to get your dogs skin caught in the wide blade or they could get cut. So it took me 20 minutes but that's still better than 3 hours. I love these clippers, they are loud but I spent some time getting the girls use to the sound and they were fine. Saves me 180$ every six months and I don't have to leave my very neurotic dogs at the beauty polar for several hours. Oh, I placed a call to the company before placing the order and the lady was sweet and helpful so thanks for that. If you have the same problem as me, this is a good investment.

I was looking for a versatile clipper that I could use on both livestock and on my long, haired dog. The seller shipped them super fast and they arrived packaged well and ready to use.Pros: They powered through thick, matted undercoat without bogging down. The 3" wide blade made short work of big jobs. They come with a heavy plastic case and everything needed for basic clipping.Cons: They are loud but I didn't think the decibel level was extreme. My dog only objected when used around his head. They are heavy and weigh about 4 pounds, but both my wife and I could use them one handed for awhile. They did get hot after about 7 minutes of continual use.A couple tips when using.Don't push down with the clippers or point the blade downward towards the animals skin. Rather using light steady pressure hold them parallel to the animals body and let the clippers do the work.They will cut skin! Be particularly careful and go slow in areas with loose skin like on the animals belly, flank, legs, or around the neck and face. They could also potentially notch an ear if not careful.Keep in mind they are advertised as sheep, goat, and alpaca clippers, not dog clippers. These will not provide the same look at professional grade dog clippers. They are going to leave "tracks" especially in finer hair. However, for my purposes they worked just fine on my dog. I would not recommend them for use on horses except as a body clipper. They would not give you a show worthy look on the head and legs.I gave them four stars because, overall they worked well and they did exactly what they were supposed to do, which is cut a lot of thick hair, fast. The price was also great. These are heavy duty clippers that cut aggressively and efficiently.
