Absolute tack driver !!
Owning many high dollar PCP rifles, i wasn't expecting much from this $200 rifle. Boy, was i wrong !! I was fully prepared to chuck the scope in the garbage. Boy, was i wrong!! It did take alot of adjusting to get into the bull but its there now and it shoots one ragged hole with QUALITY pellets. Fairly quiet (not m-rod quiet) but quiet enough for indoor shooting. Cons: The funky shaped stock is not pretty and rides the bags poorly. The grip/palm swell is ugly blue. Very minor issues considering how great it shoots.

Good Entry Level PGP
Good for the backyard shooting gallery and woods hunter where .177 is all you need. Quiet enough, and sounds like a subdued roofers nail gun, sort of. It's long so if you go trekking with it you may catch branches. Light enough for carrying for all day fun, just have your pump handy to refill the tank. Pumps can be heavy. The scope mount is OK, but not as secure as I'd like. Scope rails and the mounts grip areas are shallow so I could see it getting knocked off possibly. The scope cover is clear on one cap, and yellow tinted on the other for higher contrast shooting. Sighting in was easy with the finger adjustable windage and elevation tabs, no need for a screwdriver or penny. I was actually surprised at the accuracy with regular .177 cal Copperhead Pellets. At 40yrds (37 meters), I can consistently hit a 1.5" x 2" Sticky Note from the standing position. With better pellets, and using a sandbag or other brace I'd expect even better accuracy, but for plinking that is just fine. The gauge cover is a slight pain to slide off but not a negative. I'd rather it stay on than fall off. I'd like to have seen it come with a refill port cover to keep dust and debris out. I think it's a good deal especially if you can catch it if the price drops. Comes with extra O-rings for future repairs. Also it is pretty customizable to your physical size with the buttstock spacers, alternate sized grip, and cheek riser. At this time extra magazines are not available from Stoeger or their suppliers, BUT the Seneca Diana Stormrider's magazine is the same thing so for those looking check them out. I'd give it a 4.5 stars overall.

Very accurate once sited in
But extremely heavy for Mom!

Amazing gun
Compared to the Gamo break-barrel I was shooting before, the XM1 is a dream. Shoots straight with almost no recoil and very consistent (tho lighter alloy pellets are a bit less predictable). Silencer is very good too (bought another XM1 without silencer and sent it back because way too loud). Replaced decent stock scope with upgraded Vector scope to make a very capable shooter.

Can not buy spare magazines
The gun performs well but you can not buy a spare magazines for the gun so if you lose or break the one they send you just throw away the gun

Easy going airgun.
There is a catch. Using a larger scope than the one shipped with the gun needs some adjustments or shots usually will be off the mark and landing far away from the intended point of impact. The gun, has a slight angle drop between the first and second places where the scope can be attached to Other than that the airgun is reliable (with small scope). Suggestion: Drop the manual pump and get a an automatic pump. Electric air pump fill up the gun in 5-7 seconds. Hand air pump: will take you a long, long time .

No two shots are the same. On par with the price.
With each shot, the point of impact changes. I haven’t contacted Stoeger yet, but it seems the regulator will not provide consistent air charges. Fire once and the apparently the velocity changes and so does the point of impact. Makes it impossible to shoot small targets.
