Pretty, a touch fragile, but pretty
Was great to use, I love the effect, I did it all on my own and it's my very first time. Here's some tips if you're going to do it yourself. Get a table, tape a long yard stick to it so that it's level. You can put the paper through it kinda like a tape dispenser. Measure out how big your pieces need to be and cut appropriately. You don't necessarily have to use lining paper but do it. If you do then make sure you're not using a water based paste for it because when you put this stuff over the top it's gonna peel the lining paper away when it gets damp. Don't use too much paste, this stuff will get soggy and it's hard to work with and easier to tear if it's soggy. I would recommend putting the paste on lining paper and then putting this wallpaper on it. Lining up the pattern can be done by math or by eyeballing it like I did because it's not always cut straight on the sides from the factory. I would actually put more paste than needed over the side next to the last piece so that I could stick the new one in place and line it up before doing my cuts. That's just me tho and you might be better at math than me.

great wallpaper
i used this wallpaper on the ceiling & it looks so good in my opinion. it was a bit tricky getting it lined up & it was definitely a two person job. it does rip easily when the adhesive has time to soak in, but if you’re careful then it is avoidable. overall, would use again for another project

Beautiful and textured wallpaper - highly recomment.
I used this for furniture updates and it turned out absolutely stunning as drawers. Ended up selling the further for 3x the buy price by updating it with this and paint. I purchased wallpaper glue in a bucket and lathered it on after lightly running the wallpaper through water. Follow how it tells you. Do not cut it when it is wet. Cut it dry. When it dries, use a blade to cut the overlap, not when it's wet.

Beautiful even without painting!
This wallpaper is as beautiful as I hoped it would be! The actual appearance compared to the ad photos did not disappoint. Pros: 1) The embossing for the design has a great texture with every part of the design showing up very well. I was concerned that the embossing might be very shallow making the design hard to see. It was not. 2) The color of the paper is so pretty that we have decided not to paint it. 3) Even though we are leaving it as is, it is paintable! That was the main thing I was looking for along with the embossing. 4) All the designs & lines were straight & matched up easily. 5) The paper is a good thickness & will definitely hold up to painting very well. 6) Good value. It only took one roll to do our backsplash even with the mishap (see below) that caused an entire length to be unusable. Cons: It DOES NOT have a pre-pasted backing. My husband & I thought ALL wallpaper came with a pre-pasted backing these days. It does not. He figured it out after cutting & soaking the first strip & putting it on the wall. Needless to say, it didn’t stick. 😂 Once he had paste for the back, it went on very easily. (Side note: the only store in our area that had the paste was Lowe’s. Home Depot didn’t even have it.) We will be purchasing more to do the backsplash for the additional cabinets we are putting in for our kitchen. I absolutely love it & we have received so many compliments on it.

Wonderful Embossed Detail
I bought this wallpaper to replicate metal ceiling tiles to decorate my she shed doors. After insulating the doors I needed a treatment. I was hoping to use this wallpaper as it came off the roll. The repeat of the paper did not work so I cut 10" squares and alternated the directions. The squares were sprayed with copper paint and then the patina was added with chalkpaint and then distressed. Love the effect that the very detailed embossing gives. The price was much cheaper than tiles would have been and much lighter in weight.

Hides a "multitude of sins"
I used this paper in my older home to hide cracks on the ceiling which never looked quite right despite our best efforts to fix. We would have had to tear down and lathe and plaster and install drywall for a satisfactory fix. This paper hid all the little defects in the old plaster. We had it professionally installed and our wallpaper person thought it was a great product. We painted it white using an eggshell finish. It looks beautiful. Very classy and elegant. I highly recommend.

Do not buy for ceiling
Horrible to work with. I would not recommend putting on a ceiling. Even if it's a small room because it absorbs the wallpaper glue almost immediately, so you can't prep it with putting the glue on the back first and folding it over to hold it up to put on the ceiling. It completely dried in areas before I was even able to began putting it up. Then I tried putting the glue on the ceiling and the paper is heavy so it wouldn't stick up there so I could move on. It also tears really easy, I mean, really easy. Because parts of it is thin paper, it creates really weird stretching between the decals, if you're not careful. I had to pay someone to come in and do it, and they only were able to get 2 pieces up up in 7 hours!! I bought two jars of the adhesive just to be safe, and he used one whole jar on just two pieces, it was ridiculous. I finally told him to go home. I tried a few more times on my own, but like I said, it was impossible for me and a professional to work with, and I thought I was a patient person.
