I’ve never heard of bee pollen that people eat! I thought it was just for bees. Where do you get bee pollen?

Thanks for your inquiry and great question! The bees produce 2 things, nectar which makes the honey, and pollen. They put the pollen in a different cell on the comb than the nectar, and we can harvest it out of the comb just like you would honey.

Most people who buy our pollen buy it to help relieve allergy symptoms. But less known is the fact that honeybee pollen contains all of the amino acids, and is an excellent health supplement. It is also very good at giving your immune system a boost in those cold, flu prone months of winter. Pollen is also used by many athletes as a source of protein and as an energy boost!  It tastes a little nutty and chalky, so most people mix it into their food like smoothies, oatmeal, salads, etc.
