After shampoo I use a quarter size amount in wet hair. Rinse well. I use a tiny amount as a leave in conditioner before adding tres effect gel. I prefer soft curls and don't use too much gel. This seems to keep the frizz away and still leave my hair soft. **Q: Is this a leave in conditioner?** A: Yes. It says on the bottle that you can use it as a leave-in, and/or as a rinse-out. I prefer it as a leave-in. Your hair's thickness, density, porosity, and curl/wave, and the dew point/humidity, etc. may determine how much you should leave in. But you can leave some amount of this in, as the instructions suggest. **Q: Does anyone use this without washing?
