Yes, this system is a lot of money, but there is very high quality here. I purchased the >30ft option. First off, the assembly was straightforward with clear steps, partially assembled pieces when possible, and tools provided when necessary. The rack itself is very solidly built and to stop any vertical movement in the receiver, it comes with a hitch stabilizer u-bolt. The hitch pin is also threaded and locked with a key to stop lateral movement and deter thieves. The vertical bar articulates allowing clearance to get the rear bike loaded, and the crossbar clamps hold them firmly in place, with a knob, lock and key. Wheel straps snug the tires down in their wells and those bikes aren't going to move at all during your journey. The kit also came with an additional quality cable lock. This lock, the knob locks on the crossbars, and the hitch receiver lock are all keyed the same. This was a very well designed kit and well worth the money. 100% would recommend.

This is a great rack. Very solid and has no movement in any direction. You do give up the ability to quickly move things around or flip the rack up quickly. Other racks I’ve owned these things were done by moving pins, but this rack has bolts with lock washers and knobs to loosen. The extra time it takes is worth it knowing my e-bike investment is secure.

The rack is a solid rack and works very well. As some have mentioned, the center bar can be a bit of a pain with pedals. Combine that with the other pedal being right next to the car and I've found it's FAR easier to just remove the pedals on the bike that'll be closest to the vehicle. There are quick release pedals that can be purchased, or just a cheap pedal wrench. FYI for people new with bikes; one of your pedals is reverse threaded. To tighten, both pedals will turn towards the front wheel. To loosen, both pedals will turn toward the rear wheel. On a side note, one of the ratcheting mechanisms arrived broken. Hollywood Racks customer service was literally outstanding in getting it replaced.

We purchased this rack nearly 2 years ago for our new Aventon E-Bikes. Although heavy, it is sturdy and holds the bikes extremely well. It works great on the back of my motorhome or my Jeep. Can’t go wrong with this if you want stability and quality.

The thing is heavy for sure. I think it needs to be to handle the action on the back of an RV. It is a bit cumbersome to install/remove and to “fold”. Hence the 4 star rating.I like the single key to lock/unlock the fasteners, hitch pin lock, and the cable lock. Very nice.I am very confident that anything I put on it will stay in place…. Safely.

Love this Motorhome ebike rack. Easy to install bikes and take down. Also does not wobble or move at all your e-bikes are protected. Install, secure, and hit the road. Comes with a bike lock. I recommend it.

Holds both my 75lb fat tire E bikes with ease. I have no worries when hauling my bikes behind my 42' fifth wheel RV. I've got $4000 of bikes secured in the rack and I can't see them so if anything fails I probably won't know it until I get to where I'm going. It's worth spending the money on a rack you have complete faith in. Buy it nice or buy it twice. I've had it over a year now and been on several trips and had no issues. Just be sure to always have the knobs in the lock position even when you're not hauling a bike or they will unscrew and come off. I got lucky and they fell off in my driveway.
