Great update to an old Lathe
Great price! This is a #1 motise taper for a Delta “Homecraft” tail stock. Great for drilling bowl blanks! Works well with this lathe!

Good beginner lathe
This seems to be a good beginners lathe. It's not to expensive for a beginner to learn on if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a lathe. There are two things I would change to the lathe 1) A longer knock out bar. The included one seems a little short to me. 2) The dial on the back of the tailstock is plastic. I wish it was metal and had a handle instead of just being a round cylinder. It would make it easier to move the tool forward when doing your turning

Perfect fit and function
I got this for my Wen mini-lathe and it's great: it fits well and holds fairly large drill bits. I was struggling to hollow out bowls so I got this for making a center hole to the depth I need. Then I switch to my gouges to hollow out the rest.

Waiting for MT3 to MT1 reducer, so haven`t used it yet but the chuck looks quality & I am very pleased

Bought for a Mastercraft mini lathe. Worked great and is accurate. I put a dial indicator in it after loading this into the tailstock and was able to measure about 0.002" concentric around the headstock/chuck.
