APIVITA Tonic Mountain Tea Shower Gel | Gently Cleanses, Revitalizes & Preserves Moisture with Mountain Tea, Propolis & Essential Oils

Apivita is a "premium" Greek personal care brand with a great assortment of products with mostly clean, natural ingredients. We prefer Tea Tree soap and shampoos, so I was excited to try this. It seems a bit pricey (currently $22 for a small 8.45oz plastic bottle) but my husband loved the smell, it is a rich pine and amber masculine scent that lingers for awhile (a little too manly for my preference!) The gel does create a foamy lather and leaves your skin feeling moisturized and clean. I do like that it is safer, more natural ingredients.

This is a wonderful natural body wash. It smells amazing and I love that it's scented with essential oils. The formula is emollient and luxuriously thick. I highly recommend this body wash.

As a woman, I get so tired of all of the fruity and flowery body washes. The scent of this body wash is more masculine with a cologne-like scent. It is such a refreshing change of pace, and I absolutely LOVE it. At the time of my review, the listing indicates the product type is a "cream," which I think must be an error. It is a translucent amber-colored body wash that is not at all creamy. Despite containing a variety of surfactants that include Sodium Laureth Sulfate—a gentler form of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate—this body wash does not produce a nice, sudsy lather. I would be okay with that if this were a creamier wash, but in my opinion, it just kind of falls flat. The pricing is also bizarre. As I'm writing this review, you can get a 250-ml bottle for $22, or a 500-ml bottle, which is twice as big, for $28—only $6 more. Considering the price and lack of sudsiness, I likely would not order this body wash again, especially in this size. However, I adore the scent and would consider trying their moisturizing Tonic Mountain Tea body milk.

Especially for the price, I think most people will be dissatisfied with this product. I generally use an orange body wash from a (very) big box store and it works great. My wife had some high end bodywash that I could not justify spending the money on, but still really liked. This bottle reminded of me because it was a similar size and color. It was a disappointment. I don't wear cologne, and it smelled like cologne. The attractive woman shown in the ad would smell like a 20 year old guy wearing it. I don't recommend this product. I gave it two stars because of the packaging. It will look good sitting in the shower, but I won't use it.

Lathers well and a little goes a long way. The shower gel leaves your skin soft and hydrated and doesn't cause any irritation or redness. The scent is more masculine like a man's cologne, so if that's not your preference, you won't like it. I would've prefer a more neutral scent for a shower gel.

This shower gel smells wonderful ~ a little like pine trees, so it's suitable for both men and women. The gel is thick and cleans well. The toning effect means my skin felt invigorated afterwards. The oils in the gel keep my skin soft. The bottle has a pretty wide opening, bigger than most shampoos, so is easy to dispense. The plastic is squeezable so it will be easy to get the gel out even when I get down to the bottom.

I think something used to be inside of it because the package smelled really good. But the bottle came empty, unfortunately. I can't possibly recommend this.

My son likes this body wash because of how it smells. It works well to get him clean. He had to use a bit extra to get a good lather, but it got him cleaned up good without drying out his skin.
