Cuisinart Sandwich Grill, Silver, WM-SW2N1NAS

My granddaughter and I got this for our summer sandwiches, and it is awesome. We use Pam spray and two sandwiches are done in less than two minutes. It's easy to use and to clean, except for the back by the hinges. The oil from the cheese gets back there and it's a pain to clean it out. Certainly not stopping us from our grilled cheese summer, but a "would be nice to have".

I've been wanting to try a sandwich maker for awhile and thought to give this one a try.Super easy to set up, just plug it in and it is ready to go! I tend to use bread thats a bit bigger but it works just fine. Just keep an eye on it and get it to the crisp that you enjoy on a sandwich!I really enjoy that it does give it a little "pocket" type area. So I tend to put diced pickles/tomatoes/etc in my cheese sandwiches to make them a little different.Overall, it is great and easy to use. My only request would be maybe a little alarm sound or such if you happen to leave it on. I tend to get distracted and forget that I have it on. Other than that, it is perfect!

Works good very easy to clean but like the other reviews it is a bit shallow wish it could hold a bigger sandwich but besides that I love it it works fast and is easy to clean

The Cuisinart WM-SW2N1 has very useful LEDs. Of course, RED Power On also Green On when at temperature. But the Green LED goes off when a sandwich is inserted - then when the sandwich reaches temperature the Green LED turns on again. Eliminates opening to see if sandwich is done.Cooking area is a little small, but great for grilled cheese with using regular white bread size.Our last identical model lasted many, many years.

This is my third maker over the last 10 years. Over time the casing tends to break off but usually each unit lasts a good 3-4 years. Very happy with it and will continue buying as old units break.

Works very well for something like a simple grilled cheese, but anything else that is thicker then a grilled cheese and you will have to man handle the thing to close and it feels like you're about to break it in half. I had made a simple ham and cheese sandwich with this and closing it to make sure each side of the bread was nice and toasty would cause the melted cheese to leak out the back and into where the coil is. The sandwich was about an inch thick.

Excellent grilled cheese appliance. Cuisenart never disappointed with their products. The price was perfect since I was needing a new sandwich grill. The grill plates and timing lights turned out perfect grilled cheese.
