This headgear is pretty solid. The thick leather makes you know it's quality, along with the thick stitching. Fit is perfect once I adjust all straps. The thick cheek pads, really protect the nose without a faceguard.

It fits pretty snug but I have a big head and as far as protection goes, it does its job of protecting me from black eyes and cuts so far but I can obviously still feel the blow of head shots.

Excellent packaging from vendor got matching gloves ,look and feel great! Definitely need a break in period, if the headgear is tight around the crown part give it some time to stretch and soften up!

The best headgear I've ever used, but I have not used Winning. Previous to this, my favourite headgear was made by Rival, but I replaced it after the suede lining got too disgusting. Fit/comfort - Fit around the head and cheeks are perfect. The only annoying thing that another reviewer has already touched on is the strap. For me, the position and comfort of the strap can be improved upon (prefer the Rival in this regard). It did take a few wears to get comfortable. The leather when I first got it was quite dry, and I treated it with Dubbin. The product is also light, which makes it comfortable. Protection - Decent protection for the forehead, temples and cheek. No protection for the chin or the lower side jaw so if you need this, look at another product. The cheek protection is not too bulky such that it restricts your vision. I have gotten bloody noses at heavy sparring sessions with this headgear though (which is not unusual, it happens - I'm no Mayweather), so if you're looking for complete nose protection, get a headgear with a bar. But also know that that will add weight and take away visibility. Vision - as mentioned earlier, vision is good. As long as you're wearing it correctly (chin down, looking up) it should not take away too much. In conclusion, I love this headgear - you will still feel the punches and you will not feel like you are wearing a motorcycle helmet. It is light and folds away neatly to fit in my bursting gym bag. Have a look at photos of people with this headgear on to figure out if it has the protection you want/need.
