BEST BOTTLE EVER! First of all, I got the blue and purple one, and the colors are so soothing to look at. Secondly, the outside of the bottle has a really soft finish to it when your holding it. It doesn't feel like squeaky plastic, it's a soft and smooth finish on the outside to give it an amazing texture feeling when you're holding it. The straw feature is perfect bc when you unlock it, the straw pops right up for you to start drinking. You can also remove the straw if you prefer to chug from the bottle. I specifically ordered this for the straw feature, because my previous gallon bottle looked rediculous as I'm holding the huge thing in the air with my head tilted back, chugging it like some Neanderthal. This bottle I can set on the counter corner and walk past it through out the day, walk up and take a good amount of swigs right from the straw, then get back to what I was doing without even lifting it up. Before I know it, it's almost gone and I feel such relief that I actually am completing my goal of drinking a gallon a day again! 😊 The bottle comes with a leak proof lock and an attached sturdy strap for carrying. If your goal is to drink more water, this is the bottle for you!!

This water bottle is awesome if you need the motivation and accountability to reach a goal for the amount of water you want to drink in a day. I know everyone is different so I am going to break this down into pros and cons for me:Cons first...It is quite large so with my little hands it took me both hands to actually hold itOn the same idea, it isn’t practical to carry around with you. If you work a desk job, it would be great, but I am a SAHM so trying to carry it to different doctor appointments, kid activities, etc, it was difficult to doPros...It does have a nice strap to carry it by and even though it is difficult for me to pick up with one hand, the strap makes it very easy to hold.I would fill this in the morning with some ice, leave it on my counter and every time I passed the kitchen, I took a few sips. It was fun to reach each motivational spot and most days I finished well ahead of time.It is very motivating and makes you feel accountable physically as opposed to just tracking it on my phone. The constant visual really got me to drink my water.It is built very strong and is super easy to clean.On days that i was taking my kids somewhere I would fill this as a back up to refill their water bottles throughout the day. Much more efficient and better environmentally instead of buying disposable water bottles. Plus I was able to track their water intake as well.It’s very pretty to look at and I got a TON of compliments with people asking where they can get one.It's functional on so many different levels as I have mentioned.*bonus...amazing customer service!As you can see, the pros far outweigh the cons. I would recommend this 100%....in fact I have many many times already!!

The media could not be loaded. It's alright for what you get. I didn't buy it to drink or of it, but just in case someone else does I thought I'd leave a review. The strap doesn't come off the bottle unless you cut it off. Removing the top doesn't allow you to remove the strap so you have to get it wet every time you wash the jug, and if you're sloppy you'll likely get it wet while filling. If this isn't an issue for you, then alright.The lid mechanism seems sturdy.It's easy to clean.The inside of the lid has a rubber seal that can be removed for cleaning all the ridges underneath. Hopefully they don't get gummed up and slimy inside under the seal though.The jug is enormous! It looks like something you'd get from a novelty shop. Of course that's too be expected for a gallon of water, but I put a pic of it next to a gallon jug for comparison. The white thing that is supposed to be a straw extension is absolutely useless. You can try to force it to stay on the straw all you want, but it won't.If you want a true gallon you have to fill it all the way to the top, and not at the 7am mark. I filled a gallon jug up and poured it in for measurement and it filled it all the way to the top, so if you're really trying to get a true gallon of water in a day - don't cheat. :-)Turned it upside down and out doesn't leak, although the rubber seal wasn't in all the way when I first opened it and took a bit too get it back in.I bought this for water storage in my refrigerator and don't plan to carry it everywhere with me so I anticipate it'll last me a while without looking rough, but it does have a soft texture on the outside that may or may not scratch easy. If I remember I'll eventually make an update next year.
