One of the best dungeon crawlers
This game is amazing! Very well imagined, and executed. Printed on sturdy thick cardstock and punched with precision accuracy, these pieces look great. The wooden dice, not so much. Cheap and a couple aren't stamped in the center. They work, but I use different d6's. I HAVE A COUPLE ISSUES... the rules could have been expressed better by adding only a few more pages, expanding on explanations. Luckily some people on YouTube, including the game designer have made videos trying to show how to play. The problem is that even these videos have some mistakes in them, such as forgetting that rolling doubles is a critical role for an adventurer. Even the videos I saw with the creator didn't cover things such as how ranged attacks are intended to occur. I purchased both bod and bod2 . Both rule booklets are at times ambiguous. I surprisingly enjoy and hate this because it then lays the rule interpretation at the feet of the players. Literally reading the rule in a certain way or not paying mind to just one single word can drastically change the understanding of the rule. After a fun, but seemingly "off" playthrough I decided I would try to figure out what went wrong. Now I can say that with proper understanding of the rules and setup it is one the most fun and entertaining boardgames in a very large collection!

My First TableTop Game and It’s A Fun One!
I am a Novice but I am willing to give it a try. First off I’ve never played any of the D&D board games ever. I’ve only experienced through the video game genre of D&D thought I’ve always have an interest into trying to play the board game just one time for the experience. While searching on Amazon I stumbled on to this product which I feel that it suits me since I was familiar with the Dungeon Crawler and Exploration Video Game Genre and I finally found something that’s integrated into a TableTop board game format. The Package I’m just going to talk about the main game in this review. Out of the box you get about 10 precut cardboards of tiles and pieces for the game. 4 Character Cards to choose from with each card having front/back that represent the character’s gender of your choice which is a plus! Along with game accessories and dices with Game Manuel. Each pouch are labeled specifically for the game pieces and finally a bigger bag to store all of it’s contents in it. You don’t even need the box anymore. The Gameplay You can actually play this game by yourself as you explore the undiscovered catacombs on your own while finding loot and fighting various monsters or link up with others up to 4 players for more chaos and mayhem. I’ll try to simplify this game as best as I can describe it. You have about 40 tiles that is shuffled and faced down at the start of the game. This game is based on a lay-down floor tile and action points system. You basically create and uncover your the way through the mysteries labyrinth as you progress further. Some tiles you lay down can be a monster tile or an item tile you can land on triggering its effect. Landing on an Item Tile you get to pull 1 item piece from its respective bag to reveal something useful that will help you in the game or you can trigger a trap that will harm you. Landing on a monster tile you pull a random monster piece from its respective bag to reveal the monster you’ve encountered. The combat is based on a dice rule where the player vs the monster is determined which of the 2 rolled the highest number. When you kill the monster you will get rewarded it. Now that’s just scratching the surface. There’s too much input and I only mentioned the core basics of this game. Now the goal of this game is once the Exit Tile has been lay down the dragon appears blocking the exit. Then it spawns the Ring of Creation somewhere on the board which is an important item you need to exit the maze but of course you need to beat the dragon first. Now playing with friends I imagine can be chaotic because you can work together or fight each other. Just make sure you have your own rule set in mind haha. Is it the end? My thoughts about the game. Once you get the rules and replaying the game a few more times this game can be fun. Probably fun playing with others. A full game does takes about 20mins to an hour at most. A new game generates a different maze each and everytime. So the replay value is there. The plus for me is that all of its game contents is stored in a bag which is very convenient. I would recommend a friend or anyone who is interested. Thanks for reading.

Who survive the dungeon?
Simply, fast to learn, but difficult to manage... Survive is not a game for children. Explore unknow room of this dungeon, fight monster for gain equipments, armors or weapons. Try to escape alive, but don't forget there is a dungeonkeeper... the Dragon! Very fun game, also easy to transport, because smaller box. Super approved!!!

$60 wow... find it used; the experience won't suffer.
There are very few cards in this game, the room tiles are "shuffled" by randomizing them and stacking them in a pile, and the rest of randomization is chits in a bag; so a used version even in less than VG condition will still be very playable and much more worth the cost. $60 is just way too much for what you get. That said, though, this is a solid little dungeon crawler. But little - limited action choices get in the way for me, but I can't help comparing to other much larger and also other very differently-intended games. This one's probably very good for an inspired small group of geeks who're OK with learning a few rules to get to play some dungeon stuff for 30 minutes, then toss it all back into the little box and carry on with the evening. The rules are all logical and resaonable but may be awkward for someone who's unfamiliar with the basic ideas of Line of Sight, 1/2-handed equipment, armor/HP/etc. But one familiar person who can explain things well at all will get pver that hurdle with relative ease.

A Fun and Evolving Adventure for the Whole Family
My son got Bag of Dungeon for Christmas, and while we weren’t sure what to expect, it turned out to be an absolute blast! Over the holidays, we played through 4 or 5 dungeons, each taking on different characters. It’s simple to pick up, but offers plenty of strategy and excitement. Initially, we misunderstood the combat rules, treating them like classic D&D mechanics, which made things a bit confusing. After re-reading the rulebook, everything clicked, and the gameplay became much more challenging—in a good way! We also discovered that the game’s designer released new items and characters as a free PDF download on BoardGameGeek. After printing them on cardstock, we played again with these expanded elements, and the experience was even better. This game is perfect for family nights or travel, with just the right balance of simplicity and depth. We’re now eagerly awaiting the expansion. Highly recommend for anyone who loves dungeon crawlers or tabletop RPGs!
