So good we came back and bought another!
We received our first Mooka humidifier on Nov 22 2020. We have electric heat in our apartment so it dries the air out considerably. In addition my sinuses hate dry air. We can set the desired humidity and Mooka does the rest, turning on and off as needed. Unlike other humidifiers it truly is whisper quiet. You can't hear it until you get close enough to feel the mist on your face. The lights turn completely off which is another reason it's great for a bedroom. The large capacity means we don't have to fill it multiple times a day. We only use distilled water in our humidifiers but Mooka is the only one that doesn't get that mildew smell over time. Cleaning is a breeze with a nice wide opening at the top and a detachable base . We love that it is a top fill so when it's low we can add more water with no fuss. We just bought another Mooka for our second bedroom to replace an old humidifier we had in there. We love our Mookas!

Update: these WILL malfunction
Updated review: So we loved our first one a TON and bought a second one because of it. Literally days after ordering that second one, the first one started malfunctioning. Instead of the vapor going up about a foot into the air, it only went up about 2 inches, if that. I thought it was strange, so I went to investigate, and I found myself standing in a pool of water. It had been leaking water through the base of the unit for who knows how long. I turned it off, drained it, cleaned it again, let it dry out completely, and gave it another try at functioning. It worked properly for another week or so (maybe a week and half?) before it did the exact same thing again. This unit was delivered less than 60 days ago (Jan 27 2022), so it's not old or anything. The reason I'm up so early this morning is that the SECOND unit we purchased did the SAME THING at about 4:30 this morning. It made a whistling noise, which woke us up, and when we went to investigate, there was a puddle on the dresser and on the carpet. I am FURIOUS. We have used nothing but filtered water in these units, and they have been cleaned (twice for the first unit, once for the second unit). This is unacceptable. Original review, for transparency: I love how easy it is to fill this thing, and the controls on the front are easy to use and figure out. We loved it so much that I just ordered another one.

Whisper quiet!
With winter on its way, it was high time I got a humidifier. All my old ones were, well, old, and needed replacing. I really like the Mooka Air Humidifier. It is a neutral color of off white plastic with a small see through window for water level. The instructions are spot on and easy. Upon filling the top with water, plugging it up and pushing the power button, the machine starts to put out a lot of cool steam. Noiselessly! There are three levels of steam output, controlled with a touch button. You can set the humidity level from 45% to 90 %. The machine will turn off automatically upon reaching that level of humidity. (A feature that works well upon trying out! And one I am possibly most excited about!) I love that now the room won't just get sopping wet, but I have control over how much moisture goes out. There is also a timer function that I haven't used and don't foresee using, as once we turn on our wood stove, and humidifier will run the whole time. Gripes: there are no handles on the water tank; combined with the slick material and the precision needed to place the tank on the motor unit, it's not quite easy to refill the tank. A little line up mark of the two pieces with built in handles would make this a five star unit. Although, I did just now see that I could refill by using a pitcher. Still, I would prefer a safe grip.

great machine at reasonable cost
Product is great for where I live in Colorado - it's pretty dry here. This humidifier has a lot of features for its low price. It has a nice long cord so you can actually plug it into the wall instead of having to use an extension cord. The light on the control panel comes on when you adjust things and then turns off - so no distraction in a dark room at night. It is also very quiet - barely a whisper if you hold your ear up to it - no noise. You can adjust the mist volume and humidity. When it reaches the indicated humidity it shuts off, then comes on again if it drops below your setting. It also has a shutoff for if it runs out of water, Lots of features in an affordable product

Worked OK for 2 months, then quit
I ordered this humidifier to replace an old one that had died. In short: Pros: -It's quite easy to clean -It is quiet, so I could have it running in the background while I was on virtual meetings with no problem Cons -STOPPED WORKING after 2 months. It leaks uncontrollably, leaving stains on whatever is underneath it. I am not overfilling it or doing anything differently than I have been doing. Today, it simply stopped producing mist at all. -The hygrometer was also sketchy. I'm really not sure it worked because my last (better) humidifier's readings were always quite a bit higher than those on this one. Even in a small room with the doors closed, it almost never reached 50% humidity, which I know from past use of other humidifiers was wrong. So take the humidistat with a grain of salt. Actually, just take a different unit altogether as this one is now headed to the trash pile.

Dead after 30 days…AND DANGEROUS!!
This is the biggest piece of garbage I have ever owned. Worked “ok” for 29 days. But it was never very good. It doesn’t have a clue what the humidity is, none of the controls stay lit AND they are this muted light white color that is hard to see unless in a dark room. So stupid. What a POS. Anyway, on day 30 I went down into my grow room to find water all over the table and floor beneath the unit. It leaked out of the bottom right where the electronics are!!! I’m lucky this stupid thing didn’t burn the house down. Missed the return window by a day. What a joke. STOP SELLING THIS CHINESE JUNK AMAZON OR YOU WILL LOSE MY BUSINESS, AND THATS A LOT OF BUSINESS. DO NOT BUY!!! UPDATE: I have upgraded to 3 stars since the company refunded my money. Great customer service!

Great product for a great price
Great product. And really easy to use. I just turn it on, set it to my desired humidity level, set the mist output to either low medium or high, and then set the timer and that’s it. The mist output control setting is really helpful because affects the amount of time that it takes to reach your desired humidity level for the room. If I have the humidifier in my bedroom which is v small, then I’ll just set it to low mist output so it can humidity my room without making my books posters and other fragile items damp. Or if I choose to put the humidifier in my living room, I can set the mist output to high and it’ll humidify the whole room within a short time and then auto shut off to prevent creating too much humidity!
