This topper was my third try and it was the charm. I wanted just enough thickness to give a little more softness to my Nectar mattress. I looked for a 1 inch topper, but they are hard to find. I came across this one and decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. It is just right for what I wanted. The only thing I would caution is that it didn't expand to a full inch and a half, only an inch and a quarter, but that's fine for me since I originally wanted only an inch thickness. My Nectar mattress is somewhat soft already, but very firm in the center so I had some pressure point pain. This topper cured that and it sleeps very cool. No heating which is great since I get hot sleeping at times. The first 2 toppers I tried got sent back. The first one was too squishy at 3 " thick and the second was a traditional foam 2" topper that was like concrete. So glad I tried this one for my third try. It's just the right thickness and softness to pad those pressure points without being so thick it's hard to move. If you're looking for just a little padding to an already fairly comfortable mattress give this one a try.

This is the 2nd mattress topper I've bought and it's great. For those that have a firm bed and want just a little extra padding without adding too much, this is the topper for you. It's only 1.5" and does not really raise the profile of your mattress by that much, but adds so much comfort. I place mine under the mattress pad directly on the mattress and haven't had much issue with it slipping. But I also think the mattress pad helps this as well. As for the cooling effect, it absolutely helps in the summer and does seem to keep the mattress cool on warmer evenings.

I like the topper. I got it for my 90-year-old mom. she likes it but she has an electric bed that raises the head and feet. When she leaves it up it creates a bit of a bump in the crease, It's sometimes hard to keep on the bed. It moves around a bit. I sewed elastic bands from one side to the other to keep hers on... It still slides just a tad. But then my mom weighs 140 and she is tall so she has a hard time getting into bed and that causes it to move. But for the thickness, it's very comfy.

This topper is wonderful in a lot of ways--its well made, has a removable cover, is wonderfully cool to the touch, and generally comfortable to lay on. There is a odor but its not harsh. Its a light blend of plastic (like a childs gel putty) with hints of play-doh. I just bought an ultra firm mattress and its causing lower back pain so I wanted a topper for more support for my back but this one didn't work for me. Your body does sink into the topper but its actually a little firm. It would be perfect though for someone needing a topper to soften pressure points or provide a light cushion. But if you want a plush type of support (like I did to fill in the curve of my back) this isn't the type. It could be though that I'm just to heavy for it (well over 200 lbs) so someone more petite might have a different experience.

If you’re like me and realized way too late your mattress is too firm for your sleep style and you need to soften it (but don’t want a huge 3” topper) this is perfect. Makes sleeping on my side much more comfortable.

I got it for the summer because of the cooling which works great the only negative is that it’s constantly moving on the bed. I have to readjust it everyday. Other than that its very comfy and soft.

I use a firm mattress & this gave just the right amount of cushion. Very comfortable

I first tried a 2" latex topper and found it not supportive enough. I need a firmer mattress, but since I'm only 115 pounds, I wanted jyst a little bit of cushion that wouldn't let just my hips sind like the thicker ones. This works great for me. It ? Might be a tad warmer than without it? If so it's hardly noticible- it does not sleep hot like others I have tried. I'd recommend if you're on the petite side, or like me just looking for a little touch of softness. It helped take some prrssure iff my shoulders and hips. Keep in mind compressing 1.5" won't drastically alter the feel, but that was all I was looking for!
