I’ve been using the Pure Now Aleppo Soap for a while now, and it’s truly a game-changer for my skin. Aleppo soap is thought to be one of the oldest forms of soap in the world. It goes back 3500 years but possibly as far back as 5000 years. It is made of purely natural ingredients - Olive oil, laurel oil, water and lye. The first two lends their gentle cleaning, moisturising and anti microbial properties whilst the last two aid lathering. The soap boasts a wonderful, earthy scent to it; some would find it a bit unpleasant or odd because most of us are used to soap that are full of chemicals and perfumes. You can get a really rich lather with this soap, too. The soap works really well with my skin and hair. It cleans it well but doesn't dry it out like other soaps. In particular, it makes my beard shine. I have a ginger beard and most other soaps "dull" that copper hue but this highlights it. I like having a natural soap I can use on my hair and face, too. It leaves skin and hair soft, nourished and moisturised. I find that if you let it sit on your skin for around five minutes before rinsing, it deeply cleanses and moisturises your skin whilst leaving it soft and clean instead of a superficial cleansing. It is heavy. If you drop it in the shower, it sounds like a brick and sometimes chunks can break off. That's the only downside. I will use Aleppo soap for the rest of my life now. It is absolutely fantastic. The old ways are still the best.

Aleppo soap is my favourite kind of soap. I did have a local supplier to buy from but sadly had to look to the internet to top up on soap recently. This is not the best Aleppo soap I've ever bought. For the first dozen or so washes my hands smelt decidedly poo-ey which is not what you expect from a soap! However once the outer layer of soap has been used the smell disappears. Hurray! This isn't a soap for fans of a great foaming lather. It works up into a creamy mix, doesn't dry the skin and has no perfume - you just feel clean after using it. It comes as a pack of 3, each piece is humungous so they last well. Apart from the initial pong I'm happy with my purchase.

Lovely chunky well packaged olive oil soap bars. No complaints whatsoever. Lathers very well.

Mydło wspaniałe, ale niestety nie jest to około 600 gramów. Razem mydła ważą 520 gramów, a każde z nich kolejno: 183, 166 i 172 gramy. Żadne z nich nie waży około 200. Może mydła są ważone przed dojrzewaniem, ale powinno być to uwzględnione w opisie.

Actualmente, es el jabón que llevo usando el ultimo año. De los jabones naturales que he probado, es el que mas me gusta y calidad/precio, lo veo mas que razonable. Lo uso para ducharme, pasándolo directamente sobre la piel. Por cuestiones de deporte, me ducho 2-3 veces al dia y me hace falta un jabón efectivo para limpiar la piel, y que no me la seque excesivamente. También lo uso para la cabeza. El olor, como en todos estos jabones, no es que sea embriagador pero es aceptable. La piel la deja hidratada resultando muy agradable al usarlo. Los ingredientes usados en su fabricación, aceite y laurel, se llevan usando en Alepo (Siria), desde hace diez siglos antes de Jesucristo (entonces también se le añadía ceniza). La formula original, se le atribuye a los Fenicios. El aceite de oliva es el encargado de la hidratación-cremosidad-suavidad del jabón, el laurel le confiere propiedades antisépticas, antiinflamatorias y regenerativas. La única pega que el encuentro, son las esquinas al empezar a usarlo. Hasta que se redondéan con el uso, resultan un poco molestas al pasarlo directamente por la piel. Por lo demás, todo correcto.
