These are my favorite wiffle balls. They are heavy enough that they are easy to throw, but don’t fly too far. Good quality.

Great batting training aid. I pitch them to boys and they use the 1" diameter bat. Improves their contact. Very Hard to find in the grass.

Great use for batting practice and to work on form

Perfect size ball to increase eye hand coordination for baseball or softball batting practice. When they learn to hit these little ones it makes it a lot easier to see and hit the regulation size baseballs and softballs. Another plus is they are somewhat limited flight. Very satisfied with this product. UPDATE: Bought 3 more dozen so I could have more batting stations. Original ones holding up extremely well, especially considering the large amount of use they have gotten.

Perfect size to practice hitting

These are great for improving hand eye coordination in a young kid so he can make contact and avoid strikeouts. These mini balls work great in the Louisville Slugger UPM 45 Blue Flame Pitching Machine (I set the machine on 5 for fly balls, 4 on the handle, and 8 on the speed, and position the machine about 43 feet from home plate). I got 96 of them and can rapid fire a long round of batting practice to my 8 year old son with them. He uses the skillz skinny bat (both the heavy black 30oz version and the white 12 oz version - start with the heavy bat then switch the light bat when he gets tired). It really improves hand eye coordination. If you can hit mini balls with a skinny bat, you can make contact with regulation size baseballs with a real bat all day and never strike out. At first it will be very difficult, the kid may make contact with only 5 to 10% of the balls, but will very quickly get the hang of it and starting making contact with 40 to 50% even.

Wanted to help improve my son's batting by practicing with smaller balls and the 1" hitting sticks. We first started using golf ball sized whiffle balls, but they were easily dented and I had a hard time throwing them at a 30mph pace without getting some "wicked" movement. I read about these balls and that I could throw them at a faster speed that standard whiffle balls and that they balls are durable, yet won't break windows. So, i bought 2 dozen and began using them for our back yard batting practices. My son faces the house when I pitch, so I am essentially using the house as our back stop. My son has rocketed some of my pitches and it directly hits a window from perhpas 30 feet away. No damage to any windows. I am also able to pitche these balls faster than the whiffle balls, allowing me to more closely duplicate the speed of pitching he will see in his little league games. Love these balls, I plan on buying another dozen. ?My only little "nit" would be that the color of yellow and black don't stand out as well as just plain white whiffle balls. I find it a little harder to spot these balls in our yard because the yellow blends in with the green grass and the black does not jump out against the dirt patches i have throughout my yard. But overall, I am one happy customer.

These things are great for training in a garage or large rec room. They are about the size of a ping pong balls, so really help the kids hand eye coordination. They are quite durable. Using them in the rec room I haven't noticed any damage to the walls and have yet to break any windows or lights. I do advice wearing eye protection if you are soft tossing them to a batter as they can sting a bit.
