The N-25 passive alternator noise filter was designed to eliminate in-line noise in auto sound systems. Applications include AM/FM cassette decks, compact disc players, equalizers and amplifiers, cellular phones, CB radios, etc. This super filter uses a specially wound toroid filter for minimal losses and maximum effectiveness.

I have added a high output alternator to my car ...
I have added a high output alternator to my car. I never had noticed any power issues after installing it until my recent addition of Bi Xenon Hid headlights. They had a very slight intermittent pulse to them with the engine running. I tried 4700 caps to no avail. This device cured my problem.

this noise filter works very good on 2 meters but was a little weak on 20 and 40 meters. I have my ham radios in a 2006 taho.

Seems to cure the alternator and strobe noise in my experimental (can't be used on a certified airplane) airplane. Worth the money.
