STM Trestle, Laptop Backpack for 13-Inch Laptop - Navy (stm-111-088M-35)

To preface: I am 5'2" female and a healthy weight but I have scoliosis.I now live pain free but for the majority of my life I couldn't have backpacks. I also couldn't carry anything heavy. I absolutely ADORE this backpack and have it in 2 colors.I also bought the STM AERO in 2015 (10L, so a lil smaller than this, and $73) which doesn't look a day over 1.STM is a fantastic brand, but this line really is the best. The backpack straps are so sturdy because they are reinforced, and with the chest clip it redistributes the weight nicely.The bag itself is lightweight, attractive, and don't listen to what anyone says: it can fit a lot.I love nearly everything about this backpack and have no complaints. It's the perfect addition to my collection. Would make a great gift. And so cheap now....

The STM Trestle is compact and made with good quality material. My Dell XPS 13 fits perfectly in the laptop sleeve. The zipper and pulls are larger than normal, and the chest strap has an aluminum buckle. Although the backpack is water resistant, it would have been nice if it included a zipper cover for added protection from the rain. There's nothing else I would change about the STM Trestle.

Excellent laptop 'Backpack' which might better be described as a 'daypack', but I think it's the perfect size for a personal bag.Easily holds my Macbook Air 13 (securely) with charging stuff, plus a few toilet items, a book or two, with a change of underwear & socks. Room for a snack and water bottle. Perfect.

After 5 months of carrying a sub-3lb 12inch ultrabook, one of the straps pulled completely out of stitching. I recall my $40 Jansport carrying near 50lbs of books for 4 years in high school. I expected a lot more from a $120 bag. It was obviously defective, as there was barely any fabric past the stitching. Very disappointing as I loved the bag otherwise, and had all the features I wanted.Their warranty and customer service are very standup and got a replacement out very quickly. Unfortunately, they offer any near-price bag from their current lineup. Which in my case includes nothing like the Trestle. The replacement bag lacks a luggage passthru, lacks the molle points, and is much bigger (as they no longer have anything this size). I'll not be buying STM in the future.

I purchased this bag for college and it fits everything I need and more. I bought and returned so many backpacks looking for the perfect one. And now I may have finally found it! The backpack looks small but it literally holds everything I need and there's still room to spare.July 6th 2017 Update:This bag is perfect in almost every way....It is not comfortable after long periods of wear. I am a college student and wear this backpack most of the day. After a couple of hours of wear, it really starts to hurt my back. I may in fact get a North Face Backpack instead for more comfort.

This bag is fantastic. It's small but it really holds a lot. The organization inside the bag is great, so many pockets and areas to put different items. Makes a great "personal item" for the airplane. Even has a strap so that you can slip it over the handle of your rollerboard suitcase. Great!

Excellent product, pricey but worth it. you can put a 13inch laptop and an iPad, Phone and accessories plus a smal jacket inside. Plenty side pockets to organize.

I like the bag it has a compartment for everything. It feels very compact and efficient with space. I wish it were bigger and were of similar quality to the Rogue (discontinued) model that STM used to make. In a sense feels overpriced for what you get.
