I bought this woodfill product to patch my engineered wood floor, which has many large scratches and small gouges. I thought I could use a putty knife with it, but for these small areas, it really works better using a finger. For this reason, I marked it down slightly, but perhaps the fault is with me and not the product. It dries quickly and matches my golden oak floors fairly well. The next step will be to varnish those spots and then cover the entire floor, but so far, so good. It's a slow process but so far, I can say that I would buy it again.

Had a tub style of wood filler but when I opened it, it was dried out. Purchased this style as it's squeeze style should allow the putty to stay pliable longer.

I used this natural wood filler for door frame gaps, baseboard divots, and surface-level fills on darker-toned wood furniture. The natural shade is light and adds just enough depth without being overly dark or artificial against my medium brown floors, and once buffed, it blends with the grain surprisingly well. No cracking or shrinking whatsoever, and cleanup was minimal using masking tape, a putty knife, and my black gloves. Results were actually better than expected. Color was off. I rarely return items so I mixed with another color to match up.

Works great -- UNLIKE the claimed identical product in a tub (not tube). That is my personal experience with both.
