Quite rough which will work nicely with vining plants
Grow Organiks Natural Coconut Coir Fibre Rope, Coir Twine (Twisted Coir Rope) for Crafts/Garden/Plant Hanger-One Hank-20ft-(4 Hanks in a Pack) Made in India This coconut coir fiber rope by Grow Organiks is much coarser and rough than other coconut coir rope's I've used in the past. This is not a bad thing given my intended purpose is to use this with vining plants and this rough surface will actually help with the plants attaching to them. I received a single cardboard box with two packages. Each package contained two hanks of rope for a total of 4 hanks of coconut coir ropes. Each hank is supposed to contain 20' per hank so with four hanks you get a total of 80' of coconut coir rope. Once spring comes I'll have these stringed up for my vining plants and will update with pictures once I get them strung up. So far I expect they will work just as well, if not better with how coarse these are, for my vining plants.

Great for gardening.
This is a really good quality rope, very thick and quite stiff. When I ordered this I thought I was ordering a thinner more flexible twine, but this is much thicker more rigid and a rougher texture. It is also much stronger than the rope that I expected. It is certainly strong enough that you could use it to hang heavier plants indoorsor outdoors. I mean this stuff is really strong. If you’re planning to use it on a craft where flexibility is a must, this may not be the product for you. I will you be using it mostly for my garden. Because the material soaks up more water it allows me to retain plant moisture. I have also used it to tie down young trees to keep them from blowing in the wind. And this rope works beautifully. It comes in four 20 foot lengths. That’s a lot of rope. Given the strength of this rope and the fact that you get four bundles in one package I would consider this a very good value.

Versatile and Attractive
Where has this been all my plant life? I really wish I would have known about this ropw sooner because it would have saved me a lot of trouble. First of all, the first thing I immediately noticed was how beautiful, natural and attractive it is. It has a very natural earthy and Bohemian style look to it, which goes just perfectly in my Bohemian style living room. This rope is very versatile and can be used for a variety of different projects. I, so far, have used it to tie up my plants onto stakes and I have also used it to hang some of my plants from hooks in my ceiling. I am very macrame challenged and have a hard time putting my plants into these contraptions so I find it easier to find baskets and just used twine or rope to hang them. Let me tell you, this rope is far more sturdy and attractive than the twine and rope I have been using previously. It looks a lot better as well and it will hold more weight. Highly recommended!

More coarse than I expected
I guess I really should read the descriptions better. I ordered this to replace the rope my cat has shredded on her tree. I do like that you get 4 smaller bundles because it makes it easier to wrap around the poles that way. But this rope is definitely alot more coarse and darker in color than the other rope I have on it. It really does seem like it is exactly like the outside of a coconut in texture and shade. If you are thinking of using it for any crafts just be aware that it is really rough on the hands.

Very Thick Coconut Coir Rope/Twine - Good for Vining Plants, Bad for Crafting
The Grow Organiks natural Coconut Coir Rope is a good quality thin rope/thick twine to garden with. This rope is much too thick and stiff to honestly craft with. I tried using the rope to make a macrame plant hanger and could not tie the ropes without them bulging out completely. While crafting with these ropes is difficult these ropes are good for small gardening tasks and are perfect for allowing vining plants to grow up on. The surface of the rope is very rough and vining plants can easily grip to the ropes. Overall, if you’re looking for a little rope to secure your plants and for your vining plants to grow on, this is a decent option to consider.
