It works very well
My clothes seem cleaner. I like the fact that it is not lumpy - it is a very fine gain. I have used it to clean my washer along with some vinegar. It worked better than any other product I have used.

Borax Great in Many Ways!!
This is not the most exciting product to review but I have to say that it's certainly an important household aid. I found a great list of 25 Household Uses for Borax ; here are five that I will most definitely be trying: 1 - Make an all-purpose cleaner by mixing 2 tablespoons borax and 2 cups hot water in a spray bottle. 2 - Remove stains from stainless steel or porcelain sinks with this recipe: Make a paste with 1 cup borax and 1/4 cup lemon juice. Using a sponge or cloth, rub the stain with the paste. Rinse with warm water. 3 - Clean your toilet with this solution: Dissolve 1/2 cup of borax with 1 gallon of water. Scrub the toilet with a strong brush, let it sit and flush to rinse. This non-abrasive cleaner can also be used in the bathtub or on counters. 4 - Unclog drains with 1/2 cup of borax followed by 2 cups of boiling water. Let it sit for 15 minutes, then run your water for a few minutes to flush it out. 5 - Deodorize your garbage pail by filling it with borax and water. Let it soak then rinse it out. Sprinkle some borax in the bottom once it's clean. This will keep the bugs away and absorb any odor causing moisture. In today's market everyone walking into a grocery or general store is bombarded with cleaning products and it's hard to read the label on every single product to weed out the toxic ones. I can relax knowing that this product kills bugs, brightens my laundry and a whole lot of other uses that make my everyday world cleaner, brighter and bug free. Thanks Milliard!!!

Milliard Borax Powder Laundry Booster: Because Your Detergent Clearly Needed a Sidekick
Ever feel like your laundry detergent is just not trying hard enough? Enter Milliard Borax Powder Laundry Booster—the Robin to your detergent’s Batman, the... well, you get the idea. This magical white powder promises to turbocharge your washing machine’s performance, like giving your clothes a double espresso shot. Stains? Odors? Milliard Borax is here to say, “Not on my watch.” It’s basically like sprinkling fairy dust on your laundry, except this dust is way more serious and much less sparkly. Warning: May cause you to question why you ever trusted detergent alone. Also, your clothes might get so clean they’ll start judging your life choices. And yes, it does have that charming “chemical” vibe, so don’t go licking the washing machine drum anytime soon. Bottom line? If you want your laundry to go from “meh” to “I could eat off this” (though you really shouldn’t), this booster has got your back. Just don’t forget it’s laundry powder, not a seasoning.

bye ants -
(3/12/21 updated. The solution worked twice and I'm about to use it a third time. Each ant problem is in a different part of the house and after a few months. First time was in the kitchen and I put a dry powdered sugar / borax mix under the dishwasher near where ants were getting in the house. It worked well after a few days. The second time a few months later ants were coming from near the front door. I put down a liquid sugar mix on cotton balls and worked better and faster in just two days. This third time, ants are coming from the family room near the kitchen. My guess is one colony dies but another tries the house after some time. This problem started in 2019-20 when we had an overly rainy season. 10+ years in this house and the ant problems are recent. Still highly recommended). Highly recommended to get rid of ants for at least a few days. I'm still waiting to see if they come back (3/12/21 update - they don't come back. I had ants return but after several months and from a different area of the house). What worked: I put down a paper plate (edges cut off so the plate was mostly flat to the floor) with 3 parts powered sugar (about 1/4 cup) and 1 part borax. Dry, no water. I put the plate down under the dishwasher where the ants seemed to be coming from. The ants were crawling all over the dry powdered sugar mix for two days. What also worked: On the second day of bait I put down cotton balls on a paper plate with edges cut off and the cotton balls were soaked with 4 parts granulated sugar (about 1/4 cup) and 1 part borax dissolved in some water. The recipes on the web had way too much water. It only takes a little water to dissolve everything so you wind up with a thin, watery paste instead of soup. I only watched the first ant on the cotton ball and for one minute the ants seemed to be kissing the cotton ball. I think it was drinking the sugar water but whatever it was doing it seemed happy. The ant did not move at all for at least a minute. I never looked again to see how much the ants swarmed the cotton balls vs the dry powdered sugar but they did swarm both dry and liquid mixtures and after a few days never returned. What didn't work: Dry granular sugar and borax. I put that down on bait day number two and the ants didn't go for it at all. I dissolved that mix in some warm water and did the cotton ball thing above. Background: I had a mini invasion of ants and some ants eventually found crumbs behind the kitchen trash can. In over a decade this was only the second time we had ants in the house. The first day we killed 30 ants by hand and the second day we killed 50. That second day we realized the ants found the crumbs behind the trash can. Despite sweeping up the crumbs from all over the kitchen the ants kept coming back. The third day we killed 120 ants and the day after, 250. By then the ants were searching for other places for food and were crawling up walls including up and on the kitchen island which they hadn't done in the past few days. That fourth day the exterminator put spray and granules down around the perimeter of the house. Before the exterminator came I had seen where the ants were coming in the house. They had a 15' highway along the basement wall and then up a corner underneath the siding to somewhere in the kitchen. Two hours after the exterminator left the ants were still on their highway, going back and forth like nothing was bothering them. I decided to hit their highway with siding mold cleaner (a bleach solution) which stopped them for 3 days but then they started coming back. I decided to go with the sugar-borax mix based on a recommendation from a coworker. With the sugar-borax mix down the ants stopped wandering all over the kitchen and stayed within a foot or so of the mix. After three day on the mix the ants were completely gone.

I'm obsessed with Milliard's Borox!!
Milliard Borox was about to go out of stock in the 10 lb size, so I pounced on it and ordered it. I've used Borox for years, and wondered if this brand was different than another. I came to realize that I wasn't using enough in my laundry, so I upped the quantity a bit. I'm glad I did that as my clothes do actually come out cleaned better and smell better. I haven't used it yet in other cleaning projects, but am looking forward to seeing what else it shines in its power. I also liked the price point and glad I was able to purchase it in a bag, as it seems to not clump as it would do in a box.
