Vor Faba Foamer | Egg Free Aquafaba Cocktail Foamer

This ingredient has a slight bean taste and it won’t work with ALL cocktails that require an egg white; like a Ramos Gin Fizz for example would be ruined with this because you’d lose the delicate orange blossom water notes. I think other cocktails might even benefit from Aqua faba. Here’s a picture of a cocktail I created that plays off of the Aqua faba to give the drink a slight scent of bread. I call it a PB&J sour and it’s prepared in a whiskey sour fashion. You can see how thick the foam is so it works well.

Overall this creates froth but not nearly as silky as an egg. I wasn’t expecting it to be a full egg white replacement though. What the real downside is for me is that the aquafaba liquid is a pretty dark brown. The first cocktails I made with it were a whiskey sour and a last word. The whiskey sour looked fine (a little darker than it’s supposed to be) but the last word was not the right color. It’s supposed to be a bright light green and it was kind of a sad light brownish yellow. Overall I’ll keep this around to use with drinks that are already darker.

It really doesn’t make a foam like it should, unless you use about 2oz of the mix for one cocktail. This causes the color of your drink to change and have an unpleasant taste. Keep in mind that you cannot return this item and it’s very pricey considering that there are other cheaper alternatives that work better.

Great for making shaken, foamy drinks without having to mess with measuring our egg whites. Just mix up a small bit of the powder with water and you’re good to go.

Meh. It works. It's a lot more work than Fee Brother Fee Foam which you just add into your drink and shake.This requires measuring dry, adding water and stirring. (then refrigerated storage). I feel that it very slightly affects the taste as well.Overall I would not buy this again. While it does foam more than the Fee Foam, it isn't worth the hassle vs Fee Foam which I do recommend.

It’s perfect for drinks. It froths just like eggs, I can measure the amount I need for two drinks and I don’t have left over chickpeas lol. There’s no added flavor.

This product delivers. I personally use it as an egg white replacement when making cocktails. It's great, because it's shelf stable, but easy to use at a moments notice.
