Cam Housing Plug 65 mm

Excellent product, very easy to install and took care of the oil leak instantly.After I installed it , I learned that Mercedes has a campaign or recall in this part, so check with your dealer, but for the price I paid in Amazon and how quick and easy is to do the job, maybe you are better off doing yourself.

It stopped the oil leak in my ML 350. The dealer wanted $1000 to fix. Very easy to replace fits perfectly fine.

This part fits just prefect. I bought a similar product before and I have a leaking oil problems after I replace it with this original part it fix my problem for good highly recommended.

I searched 2009 C300 and this came up. This does not fit on a 2009 C300 (W204). Wasted money, however, so cheap that it doesn't matter.

I've owned my 08 E350 for 14 years and like most new owners you think the dealer is your friend and will be honest in there assessments and recommendations for your car. Well it took several years to learn that the dealer is just looking at you as a cash cow when it comes to repairs. In the case of the Cam housing cap and the two smaller cam caps had I listened to the dealer I would need major gasket change because oil was wetting he back of the engine. Over the year of ownership I began tinkering with my car and became very familiar with it. I decided to look around the engine only to discover the major work suggested was not needed. Simply replacing all three cap solved my problems. The only tool I needed was a screwdriver. Pop the old caps out and snap the new ones in!
