So, I just installed these but they sure do make the van ride better. Feels like a new van again. Easy to install. No problems. I can’t attest to how they will hold up, but I sure do hope they do.

I love these Detroit Axle kits... I always order the brake kits for my 2010 Chrysler Town & Country minivan. The struts and springs were a perfect fit and restored the ride height on my van... the springs match the OEM ride, comfort, and quietness. The swaybar links are also a perfect fit and include grease zerts, which were absent from the OEM parts they replaced. I haven't installed the rear shocks yet, but I will update this review after I do. These kits are an excellent value over buying these parts separately.

The tops of both strats were manufactured improperly and snapped off without excessive force. Being put onto them, making a turn from a stop is not a good or reasonable time for the top of your strat to snap off upon inspection of the bolt. You can see two different shades of degradation. One fresh from where it's snapped. And one that was slightly starting to oxidize relative to it. Being a pre-existing broken section and improperly welded stud on the strat, one broke at 1200 miles. The other one broke at 1500 miles I am a mechanic of 25 years. I understand how exactly to properly install and torque do not make any ridiculous statements or claims about my abilities. Detroit Axel normally puts out a good part. This specific line voice manufactured incredibly poorly, and it's insanely dangerous.

Fit no problem in 2002 Honda Odyssey. Fairly easy swap out. Support the knuckle or take the axle nut off before you take the front shock off, otherwise it could extend the CV axle too far and require you to purchase a new CV axle. Ride seems good so far, but i only have a few hundred miles on them.

A few months ago I purchased a used 2006 BMW 325i with excellent mileage. But the car was too low, hitting the bottom of the car at any speed bump in the road. It really got exasperating and worrisome. Got these shock absorbers and the car firmly lifted enough to forget about hitting speed bumps anymore. Installation was tricky, since these models have their quirks, but the quality feels premium. This isn't my first Detroit Axle product purchase, and it won't be the last. Great durable car parts, great prices.

I decided to order through Amazon for free shipping to Canada and to avoid any surprise duties if I bought it directly from Detriot Axle. I didn't read the reviews before making the purchase, and after I did, I almost wanted to cancel my order due to the negative reviews. I decided not to, as there weren't many options like the complete set (6) out there within my budget. I checked again with my Mechanic, who said the Detriot Axle product was a decent replacement and should be okay for the job. The item arrived well-packaged, and my mechanic installed it easily. It's been over 3 weeks, my 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan is way more comfortable to drive and the rattling noise from my previous upper strut mount bearing is gone.
