Became a hobby silversmith and only had metal files from my toolbox. This is legitimately a game changer from what I had.

How does a manufacturer think a thin brown paper bag for packaging is going to cut it. First attempt to buy was an empty paper bag with a hole in it. The second was an empty paper bag with a hole in it and a dinged up file loose in the box.

Beautifully made. The “slim” file is a great “ring file” especially for small sizes. Initially balked at the $10 higher price, but the first shank I filed with this was too narrow for the next-larger, $10-cheaper, size. And of course it will work just fine on larger sizes.
