I got this because I was setting up multiple monitors linked to my laptop without enough hdmi ports. Suffice to say this was exactly what I needed, while also giving extra port functionality I didn't know I needed (mouse, keyboard, ssd, etc).

It fulfilled my needs and resolved my problem. Connect 2 monitors to my HP laptop so the HDMI is perfect. As to the USB ports, I also tried them, they work just fine. When I use them for the wireless keyboard and mouse I notice some delay sometimes. But if you need an extension for the USB ports you have them here. As to the rest of the ports, I do not really use them for a daily work. The device in general is neat in the shape, not cheap or low quality. It is needed for laptops.

It gets hot a little bit. Especially if you have more than one monitor. Other than that it's a good purchase for the price very good price. It matches most silver computers in color.

I use this device on my Chromebook, and have used it for a month without a single problem. It worked so much better that the last one that I owned. I hook two external monitors and a charging device up to my Chromebook every day. In addition, various other items, like memory sticks get used from time to time. For every single device, when I plugged it in, it just worked. No muss, no fuss. So easy, I forget the device is even there...

Works really well for a few years now and doesn't take up much space.

I've had this for just under a year. It's always run hot so I'm leery about leaving SD cards, etc connected to it. It's convenient because you can connect all your peripherals to the dock and just make a single connection to the Mac. However, right off the bat, I had issues with it. It worked well for me on an older Macbook (2018). However, now I have the 2020 Macbook Pro and it’s not working as well. Every so often, the HDMI display doesn’t get connected even though the dock is connected to the laptop. Other accessories connected seem to be fine - USB keyboard, mouse, LAN are all okay. I have a 2020 13-inch Macbook Pro. The problem I have is seen with both HDMI ports. Sometimes (but not always), when I connect my sleeping Macbook Pro to the Zmuipng dock, the Macbook doesn’t wake up when I press the keyboard or mouse which are also connected to the dock. On the dock, I use the USB ports (for keyboard and mouse), I use the LAN port and I use one of the HDMI ports for an external monitor. I also have my Macbook’s power connector attached to the dock and the dock is feeding power to my Macbook. I can hear the beep when I connect the dock to my Macbook so I know it’s recognizing that power got connected to it. I don’t have this problem if my Macbook is already awake when I make the connection. It’s only an issue when it’s sleeping that it cannot be woken up. As of last week, it seems to be destroying the USB power cable bringing the power to the dock. One cable went bad last week, so I replaced it with a working spare one I had laying from my older Mac. Now, the replaced cable has also gone bad. The power supply is fine and if I connect another cable to it, it works fine. Also, the port on the Macbook is fine because when I connect a working cable to it, it starts charging up. I'm going to stop using the dock and just individually plug in my devices using the Apple dongles. Can't afford to have all my peripherals destroyed by this device.

All ports worked well till I plugged in an HDMI for an extra monitor, it worked one day. My monitor still works when connected directly to my laptop. All the other ports in use seems still OK.

Currently using this product for work. We all have think pads but we all use different monitors so this was great for use since it has so many options. It has bee great for my LG monitors!

Degelijk ding, werkt direct en probleemloos met een HP G6 Elitebook. Getest met de volgende hardware ingeprikt: logitech unified receiver, een 1440p LG monitor (max refresh rate zit vast op 75hz), een muis en een logitech brio 4k webcam. Ook opladen gaat goed waarbij de temperatuur van de hub hoogstens handwarm wordt.

Bought two of these and they have worked nearly perfect for well over a year, definitely recommend. For the price that these were at the time I’m not complaining but unfortunately the headphone port on one of the units I own came loose internally and is now permanently sending data over the USB C port, so any device it’s plugged into (for example an iPad) will think it’s connected to headphones.

Ich habe an diesem Dock Ethernet, zwei FullHD-Monitore bei 60 Hz, eine HD-Webcam von Microsoft, einige USB-Devices (nur zum Laden) und ein separat gekauftes 90W-USB-C Netzteil. Meinen LG gram kann ich nun mit einem einzigen USB-C Kabel mit dem Dock und damit mit allen genannten Geräten verbinden, inkl. Power Delivery. Tastatur/Mouse (Logitech Unifying) und ein Headset-Bluetooth-Dongle (Sennheiser) stecken dauerhaft direkt im Notebook, da ich diese Geräte auch unterwegs verwende. Das Dock funktioniert einwandfrei - besser als erwartet - und wir zwar warm aber nicht heiß im Betrieb. Ich hatte einmal den Fall, dass nach dem Hochfahren aus dem Energiesparmodus die Monitore schwarz blieben - das ließ sich aber lösen indem ich einmal den Strom vom Dock getrennt und wieder eingesteckt habe - auch hier tut scheinbar Reboot gut, ab und an. Manchmal geht das Notebook nicht in den Energiesparmodus, wenn es noch am Dock hängt - die Bildschirme schalten sich zwar aus, aber man hört den Lüfter weiterlaufen. Das passiert nicht immer, ich habe mir dennoch angewöhnt, abends das Kabel vom Dock am Notebook abzuziehen. So stelle ich sicher, dass er nachts nicht weiterläuft. Morgens stecke ich ihn wieder ein. Da diese Problem vermutlich nicht dem Dock anzulasten ist, sondern irgendeine Inkompatibilität mit dem Notebook, vergebe ich trotzdem fünf Sterne - es ist bei weitem günstiger als vergleichbare Docks von Lenovo oder Dell und bietet sogar noch mehr Funktionen.

Works perfectly with my laptop, two monitors via HDMI, various USB peripherals, Ethernet connection, and more. The setup is smooth and everything runs without lag or connection drops. You do need a decent power supply for all ports to function—I use my MacBook’s 60W charger and it handles everything flawlessly. Anything lower and you’ll notice some ports won’t work as they should. Build quality feels solid, and it doesn’t overheat even after hours of use. Overall, a great all-in-one solution for turning your laptop into a full workstation.

Ich muss für eine Übergangszeit drei Monitore (Full HD) am Surface Pro 7 anschließen. Das funktioniert sofen man den Bildschirm vom Surface abschaltet (Windows Taste und P gleichzeitig drücken, "Nur zweiter Bildschirm" wählen). SDHC Card mit 512 GB funktioniert auch problemlos. Lediglich mit der Ethernetverbindung gibt es manchmal Probleme, so dass ich diese nicht mehr nutze und statt dessen das WLAN nutze. Eine Dauerlösung sollte das nicht sein. Drei Monitore betreibt man dann doch besser an einem richtigen PC.
