Faber 12 Place Settings Dishwasher (FFSD 6PR 12S, Neo Black, Best Suited for Indian Kitchen, Hygiene Wash)

We were using Seimens gadgets in our kitchen. They are very expensive and service cost is unjustifiably high. We had to repair Seimens Dishwasher twice paying 15000 to 20000 every time(price of the Built-in dw was >1.5 L) Now after 9 years, they told our dw is unserviceable as spare are discontinued. Horrific experience with Seimens. I was forced to go our of Seimens/Bosch net. Searching for reliable brand and efficient service led me to LG and Faber. LG is new entrant in DW. Faber is in his sector for more than 2 decades. We tried with low end product to test and satisfy us. We bought this 12 place setting dw. We all had doubts if this will replace expensive Seiemns. We had a smooth run with Faber with their delivery, communication and installation except their phone service for installation. My calls were not attended though they promised same day installation, the lady started arguing in a blunt way that "we have 48 hours for installation" when I asked her not to be blunt with customer, she replied" then how should I speak". It was a small hitch, I complained this attitude to Faber's customer Service. Anyway, the installation engr was polite and knowledgeable. He demonstrated patiently and educated us about Faber. Coming to performance, we were amazed with the quality wash. I expected a below average performance because of its lower price. Now we all fully satisfied with the sparkling glass and ss vessels. We do not put vessels directly with dirt. we soak them and remove the stain before placing them into the dw. But the performance is quite overwhelming. I could vouch this is better or equal to any other high end machines. I am planning to buy 15 place setting(Indian make) for my son's house. Of course the chimney and hob. Faber has manufacturing plant in Pune unlike other brands(but this is Chinese). So no hassle for spares. If this machine works for 3 years that is more than enough for me, considering big ordeal I had with Seimens. Any way I am going for extended warranty for 5 years to avoid worries in future.

Product is really good. Regular utensils will be clean and shiny in one and half hour program. Utensil with hard stains which we use to boil milk/coffee, deep fry pans will take about 3 and half hours program to get clean. This will use more than 60liters of water per wash. Once the program is started, you have an option to pause and add more utensils if required. Really useful for Indian household. Setting different programs, adding dishwasher detergent and understanding the functionality is very simple and easy, even elderly parents at household found it easy to operate. Service agent visited our home in 2 days post product delivery. (located near Bengaluru Airport). Really good service provided, he was very patient in explaining the features. Overall experience with technician was really good. It's better to order dishwasher salt, shine liquid and detergent powder online along with the dishwasher. Also, hardwater softner can also be purchased for cheaper price in amazon if your water TDS level is more than 400. All this is necessary for dishwasher and has to be purchased separately. You can also get all these from the technician when they come to install the product. Installation is free, but they will charge you at mrp cost for all these items, which comes upto 4000 rupees. hence it's better to order have this online along with the product.

Good dish washer for budget friendly family.

I was skeptical of buying this because of bad reviews about installation, however I got it installed it after a day in Pune location, I had to escalate to Amazon as I was not able to reach FABER through customer support. Review after 3 wash (normal -90 mins) Quality of wash is good, does it's job of washing utensils pretty well, far better than average hand wash. Note- I have used Finnish tablets so far I request Faber not to increase the prices like Bosch and LG.. After around 1 month of usage Incan say that it's a good machine when it comes to washing daily. I just noticed the botton tray smtyms goes off the track, also one part of the bottom tray broke and came out, looks it's because of the poor build quality or design. I guess the build quality is compromised a bit to keep the cost low. If u want a superior quality machine u may need to pay extra 10-20 k for machine like Bosch, LG etc.. Review after 1 year Wash quality has detoriated alot, it's leaving alot of strain marks and all the utensils are required to be rewashed for usage For reference i have shared a video which has been taken after intense wash(strongest wash type) During warranty period inraused this multiple times, faber people didn't responded. Now machine is out of warranty and i m regretting my decision badly to buy Faber. i ve tried all types of branded detergent, salt and rinse On the other hand Bosch dishwasher purchased by my mom during same time last year, works extremely good with no single issue in machine or wash quality i recommend NOT to trust Faber brand atleast in dishwasher space as they built crap ----- After 1.5 years The machine is as good as crap, we are not able to use it as it's not at all washing the utensils clean.. no proper service as well.. parts are extremely costly After a good amount of effort I could get the heating element replaced through warranty, the Pune Faber support guys got multiple parts on the name of warranty of my machine but replaced only heating element, also requested me to sign against the stuff which wasn't replaced After 2 years Our machines detergent dispenser cap broke and its been 1 year I'm trying to find that part, the Faber support team in Pune is non cooperative, despite of telling exact model they say that they need to visit (with i paying charges) to take photo of the part, i requested multiple times for the part cost before I take decision to replace it, but no luck. There is almost no local repair shop who looks for Faber dishwasher s Review after 3 years Machine completely stopped working, no power coming and also got rusting in the bottom area Im trying to get somebody locally to look into it.. will update it in able to get it repaired With these experiences I must say that, this machine is a scam from company like Faber. At lost cost they are selling crap.. at the same time my parents bought Bosch and they faced zero issue, stii out Bosch dishwasher cleans much better than Faber use it --- 25 May 2025 The faber people has said that pcb is damaged and cost of replacing would be around 10k, now I don't have any trust on Faber as even after spending 10k I'm sure that I'll face other issues as this machine has been a liability and a way from Faber to extort customers on the name of service. I have nonoption but to give this dumb shell to scrap, feeling bad as its as if I'm throwing my hard earned money
