Received my chopped HD Vivid Black tour pack today. The product was packaged very well protecting the vivid black paint. The assembly was easy and quick and the tour pack look awesome on my bike. All I have to do is put some mile on the bike with the pack loaded down and see how it holds up.

Fantastic product (for the price)! I read several reviews, and can confirm the following: This kit does not include a reinforcement plate, it is not drilled, the marked spots for drilling aren't 100% correct, the latch is a bit loose, and the instructions could provide more information. For drilling the base, I used the bracket as a template, and a 7/32 drill bit (this is just small enough to require the bolts to be threaded in but, they will be held in place) I sourced 4 larger washers (not included) and 7 O rings (for water tight seals) The larger washers, I used in place of the reinforcement plate. I used the studs of the backrest to mark the drilling locations. (The pre marked spots for this were pretty accurate). A 15/64 drill bit was perfect for the backrest.

Product was just ad described. The quality is very good for the money. The installation was very simple.

Easy to setup and install. Instructions are straight forward. Paint is a great match. Hard durable material.

The fit and finish are very good. The paint finish is nice but the quality and hardness of the paint leave a lot to be desired. I went to remove a little speck that was on it. Used my fingernail lightly, very lightly, and it left a mark on the paint. Had to use a buffer to remove most of it. Not sure it I would purchase this item again. Richard Garcia

Just got mine yesterday so no travels with it yet but I did get it assembled and mounted on the bike. Perfect color match, looks great. No instructions but not hard to figure out. I added a steel plate to mine to stabilize it ($20 on Amazon). I will say the drill dimples didn’t exactly line up for the luggage rack but fortunately they were close enough I was able to make it work, just start with a very small drill bit. I also bought rubber washers to use on the inside just to be safe as far as rain etc. So far I’m really pleased with this pack especially considering it was 1/3 of the cost others like AdvanBlack want. Update: THE LATCH SUCKS. Way too much play in the latch and pops open if you hit a bump, even when it’s locked. Hopefully the Harley latches are the exact same fit so I can replace it with a decent latch.
