Mediabridge 3.5mm Male Aux Cable (4 Feet) for Headphones, Speakers, Car Stereos and More

I bought this product after I lost my cable (different brand that served me well). I should have stuck to what I previously purchased but decided to try this one out based on the reviews. The cable is very well build and looks solid. I hooked up my iphone 3G and put the other end to my car jack and the audio was horrible! I had to twist the cable a few times and at one particular position the audio problem went away. It would stay that way as long as the cable or phone does not move. It seems the connector on the cable does not make good connection with iphone audio jack. (I have tried both ends of the cable). I am inclined to return it but too lazy to go through the hassle for what I paid. I guess I am one of those lucky ones who got worst of the lot. BTW, after few twisting and turning of the cable, when audio get clear, the audio quality is excellent. Really disappointed to have paid a premium to get a good cable only to get a piece of junk. I won't buy it again! 7/8/11 - Here is an update. I chose not to contact the seller (I did not want the hassle for such a small amount) but I did leave a review here. Customer service from Mediabridge responded to my comments online and asked me to contact them so they could make it right. I called them up to see if they mean it. The rep was very helpful and immediately offered to send me a replacement cable. It arrived in email a few days later and it worked like a charm! I am very pleased by their customer service and proactive approach to make sure they have happy satisfied customer. As far as cable is concerned, it works great. It's very sturdy and the sound quality is awesome! Very pleased with the vendor and the product. Definitely recommend both.

I actually ordered this cable twice. The first time, the post office had some difficulty getting it to my door it seems. Two weeks after it was shipped, the tracking data showed that the package was being returned to sender as it could not be delivered. Not the sellers fault, but annoying nonetheless. I put in a second order. This time, the package arrived in 2 days (I have prime membership). Great! On first look, the cable looked very high quality. Thick, very thick... it's about the thickness of a typical mouse cable (roughly 3 times thicker than your typical headphone cable). The end fittings looked clean, sharp. I was happy up until I actually used it. The right channel kept cutting out until I bent the cable near the head and held it in a very specific orientation. I tried it in my netbook first, then my ipod, then desktop, all with the same results. So I'm fairly certain it isn't the head design. Which leads me to believe it's the connection between the internal copper wire and the head that's messed up. To be honest, I'm very surprised a cable that from outward appearance is so robustly built to exhibit defects that you'd only expect to see in a cable bought from the $0.99 store. I returned the faulty cable for a refund. I'm considering making a 3rd order and just chalking up the last defective cable to bad luck but I'm hesitant... *************************************************************************************************************************** Update - Sept 16, 2011 I initially rated this product 1 star, primarily because the one I received was not fully functional. I have to say, I've since completely reversed my rating. A few days after I posted my review, a service agent from Mediabridge contacted me via email. This is the first time a company has ever contacted me on a product issue first and not the other way around. Wow! Jarrod was very courteous, responded promptly to my return emails, and took the initiative to resolve my problem without me ever having to ask. Simply outstanding service. You just don't see that level of service these days. So the replacement cable arrived yesterday and I've been putting it through some rigorous testing. Sound quality is top shelf, noticeably better than my old ones from BestBuy. I'm very happy with the performance of this cable and more so, tremendously happy with quality of service I received. I would not hesitant for a second to purchase another Mediabridge product. Quality equipment, affordably priced, and the best service I've ever experienced. Can't say enough about that last point!

I bought this to go from my car's built-in 3.5mm aux port to my iPhone 4's earphone jack. I have one of the Apple iPhone 4 cases that has a skinny hole that the cord has to fit through. This cable fits perfectly. The sound quality is flawless and the connection is solid. Note: To give you some idea of scale, because it's difficult to see in the picture, it's that little gold lip before the black end that fits in the case hole. The entirety of the black metal end will stay outside the case hole. Before I bought it I thought the black part would be really skinny but it's actually that gold lip that is skinny enough. As I said, the end connectors are very nice and made of metal. I like the thickness and weight of the cable too: it's not flimsy or weak and there are no corners for the cable to get caught on so this cable tends to be easy to retrieve and doesn't get caught on things and it tends to stay put rather than flop around. That's my experience, anyway. The only thing I can't be sure of is whether I might prefer a shorter cable. A shorter cable might look more organized and I love things to look super clean, but then I might not be able to maneuver the phone around and place it wherever I wanted and/or hold it up to my face while keeping it connected. I'd probably keep this length if I had to buy again. Bottom line: I would buy this cable again. This is a solid performer and worth the money for any application that needs a 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo audio cable of this length.

Bought it at an absurd discount of 70% , many thanks to Amazon ! After reading up on the benefits of using quality of wires , I was skeptical if these would make any difference to my set up, but they actually did. I use the Fiio X5 2nd Gen as my source, and connect them to an average speaker set. There is certainly a good improvement in sound quality from the average connectors that I used before. In fact, for DSD and high quality flac content there is a significant improvement in clarity and depth. Bass is better, Treble is clearer and the sound has depth. These wires work well for me and I would suggest others to buy them. But @1700 these are way too expensive, at a discounted rate, these are really really great.

Below par performance. Disappointing for its Price point. From personal experience, I find BlueRigger and boAt Cables are way better, that too at lower prices.
