I never knew about a bottle jack until a helpful neighbor suggested I get one to short up a heavy sinking raised bed on legs. This item is inexpensive and worth having around the house.

I use around the boat yard on my property to lift trailers etc. It's a smaller size which I like, and it was cheap. two things bug me. 1) the release valve to lower piston is rubbery plastic. It could be a cover?? but it makes it a little difficult to work. 2) the pipes that come with is are also micro sized and don't really fit the jack pump female connect well. It works but wonky. For the price, its getting it done so far.

This Jack is tiny. It’s adorable. It’s like a sample Jack a salesman would carry around to show customers what their bigger jacks look like. Now with all that said it’s a fine Jack just know what you need and how much you’re lifting. I needed the shortest Jack possible to lift the cab so I could replace an air bag. Works perfect for that. Would I use it on a car…even a tiny one? No way. If I did I would put some Jack stands under it as quickly as I could. So know what you need. This works in certain cases. If I was buying an everyday Jack for my vehicle? Personally I would go bigger.

I bought this 2 ton bottle jack to lift up my snow plow to slide into the front receiving hitch in my pickup truck. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and this is a very low cost jack. It has about a 6.5 inch lifting range from all the way down to all the way up which I need for this application. The minimum height is also <7 inches which allows me to get it below the receiver hitch height when it is under the plow. It works great for that. I have also used it for almost anything else you can use a jack for, including lifting the wheel on my pickup to change the tire. The unit says the minimum operating temperature for the jack hydraulic oil is -13F but I have used it at -20F with no problems. I live in northern Minnesota so haven't come anywhere near the max temp rating of 140F. I am very rough with it and even though the paint is scraped off in places, it has not rusted or degraded at all from what I can see.

I have had several instances where I have tried to use this jack but it has not worked for me in those applications. It was either too short or I couldn't properly support the load of my motorcycle with the small footprint of the lifter. The hydraulic mechanism is not the easiest to use. You need to support the unit with one hand while you jack it up with what other. Takes too many levers in order to lift it a meaningful distance. For example you may have to pump it 8-10 times to get it to lift one inch. Overall it is a decent unit if it fits your application. The price is cheap and the unit is small so it is a worthwhile tool to keep in the garage.

Exactly what I wanted . I'm not doing wrench work on cars, I bought this for another reason. To break the beads on my trailer tires and garden tractor. Works perfect! Powerful enough to break beads yet small enough to get in and replace valve stems without getting in the way. Very happy!!

I bought this jack for my pop up trailer but thank god I haven't had to use it yet. It shipped very fast and when I took it out of the box to have a look and try it out, it looked in good condition and it worked very well. I didn't have the problem like other purchasers where they said "they had red paint on their hands from the jack".
