Having started the sugar free diet I would probably be happy not to use any sweeteners in my diet at all, However my kids love having treats and they love baking. It does take some experimenting with the recipes to achieve a desired result, but we found it works very well for cookies and muffins. Kids also love putting it on top of pancakes and plain yoghurt. It does taste different to sugar and other high fructose syrups, like maple, agave etc. It has a milder less sweet taste, but i find it is very similar to golden syrup. I’m so glad it has passed the children's approval test so they can occasionally enjoy guilt-free fructose-free treats. I order my groceries from Tesco and it is slightly frustrating they don’t stock this product. I have previously bought it from Waitrose, however desertcart price for 3 packs is a good value for money and tends to last me a while. I cannot recommend this product enough to everyone trying to have a healthier diet and eat less sugar. I would also highly recommend reading David Gillespie’s book!
