Investing for Kids: How to Save, Invest, and Grow Money

Great book for kids, teach them, how use money, savings…

I bought this for my 11 year old, who made it a little less than half way through before tossing it to her 7 year old brother. At that point I dismissed it. Then one day at lunch my kids were having a conversation when I heard my 11 year old ask “What’s a black swan event?” Which my 7 year old explained to her. Curious, I asked “What’s an example?” He replied “Like the Great Depression” I’m impressed, at least it spoke to one of the kids.

I am soo glad for this book. It’s a great book to start your kids on Learning how to make money work for you. Financial literacy is not something that is normally taught in schools. I never came from a wealthy family but a wealthy family can come from me. GOD placed on my heart to seek out how are wealthy people wealthy. After years of a 9-5 and still living pay check to pay check I learnt that a 9-5 wasn’t the way to wealth. I invested in books and mentors. What I have learnt I want to pass down to my child (generational wealth). I wish I knew at his age what I know now.

Even though the book is very informative but I feel it's not really for kids 10 and under. Most of the explanations that it gives about different investments the terms are not broken down in which a child can understand. The way the book breaks it down is as if the child already has a basic understanding of investing. Overall it is a good book and definitely worth saving and having my child read it again in the near future but I do wish they made it simpler for a child to understand. That's why I gave it a 4 start instead of a 5.

Great easy read book on saving and investing for young people.

I bought "Investing for Kids" for my 7-year-old son, and I’m amazed at how much he’s enjoying it. It’s the perfect level for a Grade 2 student—educational without being boring and empowering without being overwhelming. If you want to give your child a head start on financial literacy, this book is a fantastic investment!

My 9 yr old learned a lot, came up with a svings/budget plan and felt comfortable to put some money in the market so pretty good

Excelente inversión para incentivar a mi hijo con la lectura. Así tendrá conocimiento financiero. Habla de la historia del dinero y cómo darle valor y ahorrar a futuro. Los gráficos ayudan a entender mejor lo escrito. Lo recomiendo si quieres que tus hijos aprendas el manejo del dinero

I would recommend this book to all the beginners regardless of the age and make this book as priority to read over other books.

This is such a great book. Layout, accessible language, subject matter... a great read for both kids, or indeed anyone who has never thought about finance or investing before. It also serves a great purpose: to help kids understand that investing does not have to be about spending your life mindlessly pursuing wealth or becoming greedy, but rather making wise financial choices to help you live the life that you want to live; a good life. A great book for one and all...
