Superb product. It loses a star on its rating because it will struggle to stir anything thick and dry like a risotto but very wet things like baked beans, soup and in particular stirs béchamel sauce brilliantly. It is quite loud in an open plan kitchen from the vibrating. Has 3 speeds. Well made. Battery compartment clicks off so it can be submerged for washing and dishwasher safe.

Seems to work okay on sauces. Doesn't work on anything like chunky soup. Overpriced for what it is but maybe has a use in your house.

Brilliant, brilliant product. My porridge takes 10 minutes to make and with this little gadget I can get on with other more important things. 10 minutes is very valuable in the morning. A bit of a battery guzzler but that’s a small price to pay. Please note, once the porridge starts to thicken the stirrer stops moving. Obviously can’t handle any resistance.

Advertised as an automatic stirrer, put it in the pan with contents and press the button, just vibration, press a second time, more intense vibration, press a 3rd and final time and it's vibration is that intense that the missus nearly swapped it for her rabbit, great at staying in one spot and vibrataring like a vibrator that's plugged into the national grid.

It can just about manage to stir thin soup, and maybe baked beans or similar, but stretch it to any degree and it fails miserably. Just stops, until you manually wake it up, but in addition has a further less obvious but huge flaw; see my photo; that's parsley sauce and you can clearly see the lonely lump in the middle of the pan. Thats basically an unappetising lump of untouched stuff that the stirrer could't reach. Ugh. Not long after this episode I dropped it, an accident, but I considered myself lucky; the whole casing shattered into many fragments, plastic and batteries everywhere. But it won't be missed.

Firstly, I should state that my partner and I are suckers. We make our own dog food, both gravy and kibble. She loves it. On reflection, it was probably a mistake, as she will never, of her own choosing, eat mass produced dog food again. In any case, the pan stirrer has proved a boon for us. My partner could burn thin air to a saucepan. Whilst making our most recent batch of gravy, the stirrer stirred for the whole cooking time and nothing was stuck to the bottom of the pan afterwards. I have since used it for rice, soup and pasta all to great effect. As per some of the other reviews, if the consistency of the product to be stirred is too thick, it is quite useless - a curry, for example, proved too much for it. All in all though, I'm very pleased with this item. So much so I plan to buy another in the near future.

amazing gadget for fast cooking

Used this to stir a creamy dish that needed to simmer for 40min. Worked well until the big chunks of meat were added, which made it too thick for it to handle. I’m still very happy with how this worked as the main stirring is done prior to the meat being added. Also the stirrer part being dishwasher safe is a great feature.

I bought this for my mom and she loves it. Says it works amazing.

Game changer. Works great. It's my go to for gravy and sauces. I no longer have to stand over my gravy. It does not work in a small pot. But who makes gravy in a small pot. Cleans up easy. I am giving one to all the cooks in my family for Christmas.
