Theres nothing fancy about this set/kit. But it gets the job done. It's as cheap as what comes on a Walmart bike.

My Schwinn Taff was 5yrs old, came with the partial exposed shifter routing and we all know those eventually rust. I saw these when I was upgrading and thought, lets do something different. Easy to use, lots of color choices (I was adding color and went red to match my idea) and plenty of cable, extra pieces and lets not forget the decent price. It arrived quickly, so there was no slow down on my make over and looks great with everything else I replaced. Plus side? No more exposed cables.

Quality is OK, but the brake cables are very short. I had to really cut-down the housing so the rear cable was long enough. Would not buy again.

Complete kit for brake and shifting cables

Good looking set to replace vintage bicycle cables.

These cables are just what I needed to restore a Specialized mountain bike that I was given. Literally, everything removable has needed to be replaced on it. The brake cables are double-sided so you can choose either Mountain Bike or road bike fitting. The cables easily cut with pliers. The outer cable housings are good quality. You can just about cut the brake cable housings with pliers, but I've had to order new cable cutters for the gear ones. There are plenty of end pieces and other bits to put on the cables. I'm really pleased that I ordered these ones and can definitely recommend them.
