I watched a video of this product and was very reluctant to purchase it thinking it would not work or be too heavy to hold up. I have very thin hair so I was going back-and-forth if to buy it. Well, I purchased it and it works, definitely worth the money.

The ad for this product makes you think you are going to get three of them, you only get ONE, and they include THREE plastic rubber bands. I felt the ad was misleading as to what you really get. I also expected the rubber "bumper" to be light and a soft material...it's not, it's hard plastic and HEAVY, I have thick hair, and it didn't work or all, it's so heavy your hair can't hold it and it doesn't stay put, and again, it's very HEAVY. The three plastic rubber bands that are included will last about two times before it stretches out or breaks. I immediately returned this product.

Works just as advertise and stays in easily making the ponytail look fuller. I did skip their elastic bands and use my own silk ponytail holder, and it worked much better than their smaller bands.

I found this a little tricky to use, and then not super dramatic results. Maybe with a different hair type it would be more dramatic. That said, there was a slightly noticeable increase in volume, so if that’s all you’re looking for, then this might suffice.

My hair isn't very long, but the ponyful still works on my hair. It makes my pony fuller and still cannot be seen. So it works and it's pretty impressive. They provide a couple of elastic bands and I think you really need those to work. They are more heavy duty than the other kind I have. You need to have enough give to get the ponyful in there, and it needs to be tight enough and strong enough to hold it. You do need to put it in the pony according to the directions. It's really the only way for it to work properly and to stay in all day. I tried it on a couple of times, but when I wore it "for real" I found it hard to keep my pony neat. I made a bit of a mess by the time I got it in, then I had to tighten things up and ended up with kind of a messy pony but it worked ok. Maybe with time I would get better at this. I would recommend that you try it out.

Wish I could give it negative stars. This is by far the absolute WORST hair accessory I have ever tried to use. After finally getting it into my ponytail using my own elastic (the ones provided are completely useless and not at ALL no snag) it did look kind of cute for a minute. The sides of my hair were way too loose, but the pony did have some volume. So, I decided to try again—horrible decision. The Velcro piece on the round back of the pony full acted just like Velcro on my hair. It would not come out and took several minutes of patient tugging and pulling to finally free my long, thin hair of this torturous device. Wish I would have taken a photo when it was completely entangled in my hair when all I tried to do was take it out the same way I put it in. Still gives me chills.

Okay, I thought this was a little gimmicky, but the pictures looked cute, and I'm trying to grow out my hair, so ponytails are a common necessity at the moment. I was very surprised at the ease of using the Ponyfull, and very happy with how cute and full my ponytail looked once it was in. I like this thing!

Or I'm just useless but it wouldn't stay in my hair.

I was dubious about this item, thinking it was just another hair gimmick that doesn’t work but I was pleasantly surprised. It was a bit finicky the first time using , but it is easy to use. It makes my ponytail look a lot fuller and stays in place all day. I’m impressed!
